Lynden Lakovic is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound left-shot left-winger from West Kelowna, British Columbia. Scouting Report:

Lakovic is seen as an intriguing prospect given his size. However, his game does not fit a player at 6-foot-4. The Kelowna, British Columbia native plays with finesse. This combination of size and skill is rare in the NHL. Lakovic has improved his offensive output each year in his three-year QMJHL career.

In an interview with Tony Ferrari of Scouching, Lakovic called himself a winner. Lakovic scored three game-winning goals in overtime and another in regulation with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the QMJHL Championship last season. Despite the Warriors trading away a significant portion of their core, Lakovic was just as effective. In 47 games played during the regular season, Lakovic scored 27 goals and added 31 assists. This is despite him missing a month and a half with a lower-body injury.

Projection:

First Round – Montreal #16
