Texas Stars News & Notes:

The Stars are on the verge of advancing to the Western Conference Finals with a win tonight. They are now 5-1-0, averaging 4.5 goals per game while allowing 2.5 goals per game. Remi Poirier stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced in Wednesday’s win. He is posting a 2.01 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage, and a shutout. Magnus Hellberg is posting a 2.85 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage.

Milwaukee Admirals News & Notes:

The Admirals look to keep their season alive after dropping game three at home 5-1. They are 4-3-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.1 goals per game while also allowing 3.8 goals per game. Matthew Murray is posting a 3.58 goals-against average and a .867 save percentage. He stopped 28 of the 33 shots he faced in Wednesday’s loss. Magnus Chrona appeared in the last game stopping one of the two shots he faced.
