The Canucks enter the Calder Cup Finals having beaten the Tuscon Roadrunners in three games, then Coachella Valley in four games before beating the Colorado Eagles in five games. They just beat the Texas Stars in six games to make the Finals. They are 12-4-2, averaging 2.9 goals per game while allowing 2.2 goals per game. Arturs Silovs is posting a 1.94 goals-against average, a .929 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.

Charlotte Checkers News & Notes:

The Checkers advanced to the Finals by beating the Providence Bruins in five games before sweeping the Hershey Bears, then the Laval Rocket in the Eastern Conference Finals. Charlotte has won eight straight games. They are an impressive 10-1-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.8 goals per game while allowing 1.8 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen is posting a 1.73 goals-against average, a .928 save percentage, and a shutout.
