Collin Delia Signs With Winnipeg Jets

Collin Delia and the Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $775k annually. Delia, who most recently spent his 2022-23 season split between the NHL and AHL with the Vancouver and Abbotsford Canucks, provides a great depth goaltending piece given the right players with him. Delia entered the NHL in the 2017-18 season for the Chicago Blackhawks where he would split most of his time between the AHL and ECHL.

The Winnipeg Jets are looking to move their Vezina calibre goaltender Connor Hellebucyk, bringing in Delia will be a great backup or third goaltender option for the Winnipeg Jets.

Collin Delia will get his first one-way contract where he can show his NHL worth and provide stability once the big move is made. Delia will get to play in front of a solid defence with the Jets and a highly passionate fanbase. This works out to be a great deal for the team and the player.
