Detroit Red Wings Roster Moves 3/29

The Detroit Red Wings are coming off a tough loss to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-0. Before the game, they were without Patrick Kane and Austin Czarnik with both dealing with an illness. Kane is still undetermined if he’ll be available for tomorrow’s game against the Florida Panthers. The Red Wings currently sit two points behind the Washington Capitals entering play tomorrow for the final playoff spot. Today with all the question marks ahead of tomorrow’s game they recalled Zach Aston-Reese from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL on emergency conditions.

Zach Aston-Reese By The Numbers 

Reese this season has played in one game with the Red Wings and he didn’t record a point. With the Griffins this season he has played in 56 games and he has recorded 28 points on 13 goals and 15 assists. He has spent time in his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, and Toronto Maple Leafs, he has played in 307 games with those teams and has recorded 80 points on 42 goals and 38 assists.
