and we are at Bruins benders and here we are after an up and down an
1:04
up a down then up then down again week for your Boston Bruin 67 And1 uh a
1:11
horrific loss on Halloween night spooky as all get out and that uh started the
1:19
ball uh toward some talk about Jim Montgomery and whether or not he'll be
1:24
coaching very long I happen to think I give him until Thanksgiving Maybe uh
1:30
others think he may last the entire year uh I don't see it happening but right
1:35
now the Bruins are just kind of in flux and I don't see much we've talked about this on post games I don't see much
1:43
changing uh unless there are some fairly drastic changes if he lasts the whole year
1:49
that's not a good sign for your Boston bronin because um the team doesn't seem
1:55
to be getting his message they don't seem to be listening to him they're not
2:00
starting particularly well they're not making adjustments the power play is Dreadful the offense is Dreadful the
2:06
defensive Zone coverage is Dreadful breaking the puck out of their zone is Dreadful they're not doing a lot of
2:12
things well right now and for him to continue to coach the team after the
2:19
start they've had uh with the expectations I think that Sweeney and Neely have kind of put on him and the
2:26
roster I just um I I would be surprised if he if he makes it all year long um
2:34
especially in a lame duck season when he doesn't have an extension that just seems odd to me that he would uh that he
2:41
would last that long so um I think you and I are both in agreement that he should not be coaching the team anymore
2:47
and it should happen sooner rather than later no and I think there are people out there who are adamant that it's not
2:53
his fault and it might not be 100% his fault or 50% his fault or whatever but I
2:59
just keep going back to the point where if your team looks like that then that
3:05
regardless of sport if it looks like that where they have no confidence they're it looks like there's some
3:11
effort issues up and down effort uh the same issues over and over issues that
3:17
involve discipline of some sort like penalties taken like giveaways given
3:23
those types of things that's on the coaching to some level and whether you
3:29
think it's he's at fault or not at fault or whatever at some point you just have
3:34
to say this isn't the guy for the job because it's not getting any better so
3:39
what else do you do you don't you can't fire all the players they're not going to fire the entire management staff
3:44
midseason not even close to midseason they're not going to do that so what
3:49
goes well the easiest thing to do is to fire the coach and put the new guy in and try to get a spark yeah change the
3:55
message yeah um and you know you see it in all sports when teams don't play well
4:01
when teams don't perform the coach gets fired that's what happens so all these
4:06
people you know maybe you like J Montgomery I get it a nice guy he's a great guy by all accounts um but that's
4:14
what happens when in professional sports especially when when you don't win when
4:20
your team doesn't win as a coach that falls on you you're judged as a coach on
4:26
wins and losses so if your team does not win and does not perform up to the level
4:31
that they should be performing at whether that's your fault their fault you know moon cycles whatever the case
4:39
may be you that you fall on that sword that's on you you have to take the blame
4:44
for that that's coaching in in Big Boy leagues boys and girls that's what it is
4:50
so if if your team doesn't perform you're getting fired that's that's the
4:55
way it is in professional sports so all these people out there saying it's not his fault you know he shouldn't
5:01
shouldn't be on him well who should it be on then like you said you can't fire the
5:07
players so I mean you want to call up the Providence Bruins and give them a go with Jim Montgomery coaching let's do I
5:14
got news for you they suck too so sure good luck so I mean there's really not a there's not an answer that those people
5:21
you know want to hear but it's Montgomery he's the one that's going to take the fall for it whether he's 100%
5:28
responsible 50% responsible I happen to think it's probably about 33 and a third
5:33
per. I think it's a third on him a third on the upper management and a third on the players maybe a little more on the
5:40
players whatever but you know equal blame to go around everybody's fault
5:45
everybody's having a bad year right now nobody nobody's covering themselves in roses you know in this organization at
5:52
all nobody so you know they can all share in it but he's the one that's
5:58
going to get the get the ACT if if um push comes to shove in in a sneaky way I
6:04
think Montgomery has kind of set up has done the subliminal little act where he's kind of set people up to kind of
6:11
favor him some like he's he's come out and talked about certain things to the
6:16
media about players he's he's gone after Maran he's gone after posano you know
6:23
there's there's been some some subtle little things he's done to kind of protect himself I think to kind of take
6:31
some of the blame off of him and I think it's worked with some of the fans to be honest and media to be honest I think
6:37
he's played a little bit of a victim card uh in this process and it's been I
6:44
don't know if say it's calculating but it it's been purposeful in my opinion that he's gone out a few times in the
6:51
media when he's never done that before and said some some of the things that Cassidy would say to be honest with you
6:57
he's done some of the things that Bruce Cassidy did and and it's and I think
7:03
that that's you know partly a purposeful thing from
7:08
him yeah I I wouldn't disagree with that I think you know he's probably trying to
7:14
save his ass save his job yes he is a lame duck so you know maybe he's trying
7:21
to if it's not an extension get his next job you know um kind of saying it's not
7:27
on me it's on these players it's on the I think partly screw these players yeah whatever whatever the case is you know
7:34
he's passing the blame and again as a coach I'm not looking for that from my
7:41
coach I want accountability I want accountability from my coach I want accountability for my players um I hate
7:49
that that's one of my biggest pet peeves is people who when they make a mistake or don't live up to expectations
7:57
whatever the case may be they don't own it they don't say on me it's my fault I have to be better is what they should
8:02
say it's what he should say you know the team's not performing I have to be better not yeah you know David panox you
8:10
know turning the puck over at the Blue Line he's gota say I gotta I gotta but you know bellich used to do it all the
8:15
time and people crap all over him but he'd say I gotta coach better right you know coaches need to coach better I need
8:21
to give the guys a better game plan whatever the case may be you have to own it if your if your team is not
8:27
performing you have to own that you have to take some account have you heard that from him responsibility no I have not I
8:34
haven't heard of I haven't heard a peep about anything about him at all I and if
8:39
someone can remind me then remind me I have not heard anything it's the same with kind of Don Sweeney like you know
8:46
when they lost to Florida it was like you know we had the roster well you
8:52
didn't because you lost right so you know whether it's you picked the wrong coach or whatever the case may be
9:00
your team didn't win own it that's it drives me nuts man it literally crawls
9:06
up my ass it drives me nuts like just own it just say we [ __ ] up it wasn't
9:13
good enough sorry John just say it and you'll you'll you'll get some respect
9:19
from other people within you know the organization probably people around the
9:25
league will say oh there's a guy who's you know stands up stands up for his team stands up for himself says you know
9:32
we'll accept the blame you know that's what I want I I don't want people who pass a blame to other people that sucks
9:39
that's a loser mentality I hate it I I have not heard him say you're right about bellich he say it all the time
9:46
yeah and we have to coach better he used to say it all the time play it better Coach it better all that and I haven't
9:53
heard anything from Montgomery regarding the plan you know the Special Teams is
9:58
terrible special teams is awful yeah both both of them and they this was a great penalty
10:04
killing team for a while why is it bad Jim like why is it bad tell tell us why
10:10
tell us tell us what you're going to do or or that you at least acknowledge that the coaching has to come up with some
10:17
sort of better game plan and Coach it better like tell us Jim he he never says that what he says is we're not executing
10:25
which throws it on the players it's on the players when when when they when he says that it's on the players we're not
10:31
executing we're not transitioning the puck quick enough you know but coach it better then that's that's what I'm
10:38
saying like he he will not come out and say the players suck but he won't come out and say that I suck either no that's
10:46
what I mean I I can't I can't St I really I can't stand it I hate it it's one of my least favorite qualities in
10:53
don't understand why more people don't talk about it because that that literally I I'm waiting for him to say
11:00
anything like that and I haven't heard it so again if someone has it on audio
11:05
then play it because I haven't heard it from him and I've been waiting and people don't people don't bring it up enough
11:13
that he's not really doesn't seem to be taking a ton of responsibility no he doesn't and I I
11:21
like it drives me nuts it really does all right rapid review is rapid is all
11:26
hell right now uh Halloween night versus Carolina 8-2 loss looked like Varsity
11:32
against the JV Carolina has been a difficult place for them to play the
11:38
Bruins since they won in 201819 they've had a [ __ ] of a time
11:43
there and they continue to do so in Halloween they needed a great effort and didn't get it and Carolina just
11:50
completely blasted them yeah and that was when the whole thing was in a re and
11:55
we were questioning whether or not after if if there was possibly a poor weekend
12:01
following that whether or not Montgomery would still be here and that was bad so
12:06
it was very bad yeah that was really bad uh effort uh and then a backtack on the
12:12
weekend where things you thought look like they might starting you know start to get right again uh back-to-back
12:20
shutouts Philadelphia and Seattle at Philadelphia three nothing win and then
12:26
Seattle at home so at Philadelphia um cor pasalo gets the shut out plays
12:33
really well Matt poter gets his first of the year brazo another goal and then
12:38
Marian gets an empty Netter and look it's a it's a pretty good effort like it
12:44
looked like more like Bruins hockey but the caveat was and we talked about in the postgame was that Philadelphia is
12:50
not very good and even though you can't decide what the schedule says and you
12:55
have to just go out and take care of your own business and that's fine but really wasn't an indication for us we
13:01
still needed to see them play a better team and get the same result yeah I I
13:06
just and they didn't look great in that game by any stretch they still cor pasalo was excellent in that game he he
13:13
needed to make some fantastic saves especially early on I mean he made a a a
13:20
save going uh left to his left to right to make a like a blocker pad save early
13:26
in the game um that was fantastic fantastic Sensational 10 Bell save as
13:31
Johnny Pearson used to say um so you know they still had their issues in that
13:38
game even though they got a shut out and like you said it was because of great goal tending and they were playing a bad
13:44
team right right it was yeah and that's true and then they played a Seattle team
13:49
that's been struggling and not so good either and then they win that one two to nothing Seattle has a really good third
13:55
period the Bruins do not so that kind of took a little bit of the Shine off their
14:02
second straight win uh even Montgomery talked about how he didn't love the second period didn't like the third
14:08
loved the first period and that's really what won them won them the game and Swan was really good uh probably his best
14:15
effort of the season and they get back-to-back wins uh on the weekend and what they should do and they you know at
14:22
the end of the day they take care of business there but again you know we talk about it at the Seattle game like
14:28
Toronto's coming up and let's see if they can do it against a better more talented team yeah we we did say that um
14:36
Seattle's right around 500 and and you know and guess what it was it was
14:41
foreshadowing yeah uh could they do it against a better more talented team and the answer
14:48
was no no they lose they get shut out four nothing against a an Austin
14:55
Matthews lless Toronto Maple Club who had lost eight times in a row to Boston
15:01
and finally we tired of losing to them and it was Morgan Riley William neander
15:06
and Matthew n who I really like I like nce a lot think he's a really good
15:12
player an underrated player yeah uh the type of guy that the Bruins would love to draft and develop and need to develop
15:19
is a guy like Matthew nice like that's what the Bruins need is Matthew nice and
15:24
um and he was excellent in that game and maybe they can sign him in re agency may
15:30
maybe at some point when he's 32 and unrestricted sure yeah I mean that's that'd be great um but yeah I mean so
15:38
they lose four to nothing the Bruins get not much offense at all again um just
15:45
not a lot there and the benching of David posano in the third period against
15:50
Seattle turned into a not so great effort by him against Toronto and we
15:56
talked about it after the Toronto game how mindblowing it was that he it just
16:02
didn't seem like he had a bunch you know a ton of energy and today on sports radio I was hearing them talk about how
16:09
they thought he looked kind of disheveled and angry like he kind of doesn't look right and the more I
16:16
thought about it I thought you know what that's kind of true like it it he doesn't really look right and I think we
16:22
might have hit something in the post game last night about poso being really
16:29
the only offensive threat and maybe he's not happy about it I think he's not
16:34
happy about it and I think he feels like he has to do it all himself which is part of the reason he's carrying the
16:41
trying to carry the puck through three guys and turning it over is because he
16:46
realizes there's no other offensive Talent on the team to speak of and you know when your guys that are
16:54
supposed to be helping you offensively Charlie coy
16:59
is you know with two points in in 14 games um you know before uh the before
17:07
the Kraken game or whatever um you know that you know you can't have that you
17:14
know he's supposed to be a 60 a 60o guy you know zaka is supposed to be a 60o
17:21
guy they have like three points a piece right now yeah yeah you
17:26
know it's like Brandon kylo has points than them like I mean what the hell's going on right yeah and same with
17:34
Frederick like he coming off a big supposedly horrible yeah horrible yeah
17:40
so like all like their middle six is just absolute no- show yeah
17:45
Dreadful so P I think is probably pissed off I think he's frustrated about the
17:51
way the team is played I think he's probably frustrated with his own play to a certain degree he's probably
17:56
frustrated with the penalties right and he doesn't have a center who really sets
18:02
him up so I think that's where a lot of the one-on-one [ __ ] comes from to be
18:07
honest with you he doesn't have a centerman who can really set him up and and give him and help him score some
18:13
goals and I think that that's part of it too he doesn't have anymore you know
18:19
fellow check like he doesn't have that guy anymore so that's a big part of it
18:24
too probably you know and then they had that meeting remember that meeting at practice where the where the cameras were on
18:31
Montgomery and Pak on the side during a skills session kind of chatting and then he comes out gets benched and then that
18:38
effort against Toronto so what' you talk about at the practice and then what
18:45
happened since then because didn't show up on the ice at all yeah I I didn't I I
18:51
thought he came out in the first shift and he seemed like he had his legs and
18:56
he seemed like he had some energy and then couple things didn't go his way and then after that I thought the rest of the game he didn't respond took a bad
19:03
penalty you know taking the bad penalties is something that we've never really seen him do to this extent no
19:10
like he's done he's taken a few really horrific penalties this year yeah team
19:15
has it's a it's an epidemic it's a team wide epidemic and stick Falls like yeah
19:21
that's what all of them are and a lot of them were offensive zone penalties which is horrible horrible horrible yeah like
19:29
just last gasp like lazy GNA use my stick yeah they're just not skating I wonder if it comes back to them being
19:35
slow you know I I just that was a fear I mean it
19:41
was the whole I I just I mean I I've said it a million times but I I feel
19:48
like it goes back to the roster construction I think they wasted a bunch of the money in the off season going
19:54
after guys that they didn't need to go after MH I didn't want campus uh Elias
19:59
Lindholm at the time you didn't yeah still don't you know I would have rather
20:05
gone after a Winger and figured out Center and you know we've both said that
20:10
that's what we talked about and you know I didn't think they really needed Nikita zor of at that price I would you know I
20:18
would I wouldn't have minded a guy like that but not uh at that price stag like
20:24
I when I when I heard we signed them initially I was happy about it and then I saw the contract and I was like whoa
20:31
like that's that's a little much um and
20:36
he seems to me to be a 6 foot6 Conor Clifton which right if anybody has been
20:42
listening to this podcast for a while Connor Clifton was my Whipping Boy early on he just flies around out of position
20:49
um without any kind of defensive structure you don't really know where he's going to be ever um you know he'll
20:56
make some big hits zadorov has made some made a few big hits but he'll Chase he
21:01
chases guys up the boards in the zone that's not the Brewing structure that's not how they play no but but he does it
21:07
and he'll step up out of position to make a hit and and give up a two-on one or you know a three on two whatever the
21:14
case may be so you know I didn't love that signing either uh so I feel like they they they should have been spending
21:20
the money on Elite offensive Talent which they didn't get Elias Lindholm is
21:27
not an elite offens Talent he had 44 points last year which is you know less
21:32
than Coyle less than zaka less than makoy for crying out loud so um you know
21:39
and you paid him a lot of money to win faceoffs and be defensively responsible like you can find that guy you can find
21:46
that guy they should have they should have gone out and found a defensively responsible Center and paired him with
21:52
Pano and gensel now could would gel come here probably not because your team's
21:57
not very good go and play with other great players M um so you know I don't know where that
22:05
leaves you but it leaves you with um spending all the money and Don Sweeney
22:10
saying the roster is still unfinished so I guess that's where it leaves you that's that's where it lead you seven

22:37
played on uh Tuesday night against Toronto what are your expectations for
22:45
TJ and what do you think he brings to the table and if it does it does it move
22:50
the needle at all for them no it doesn't move the needle at all uh my expectations are probably you know
22:59
similar to similar to Danton Heinen you know give me 10 gold or something like that
23:05
and that's probably where he'll where he'll be I didn't think he was particularly great in the Toronto game
23:12
but he hasn't played an NHL game in a month or whatever or any you know yeah I
23:18
mean it's not his fault he's thrown out there against the Maple Leafs right um you know right he held his own he was
23:25
fine but you know he wasn't particularly noticeable [Music] um he wasn't the one coughing the puck
23:32
up or you know turning it over all over the place like he was responsible defensively made a few decent plays on
23:39
the back check you know he'll he'll get up to speed and I think he'll you know be able to chip in a little bit
23:45
offensively but you know if you're looking for you know as as as you were saying before with Fabian lysel like if
23:51
you're looking for Tyler Johnson or Fabian lysel to come into the lineup and be some kind of Savior for this for this
23:57
team's offense you got another thing coming I mean that's just not that's not happening not no yeah this isn't Tyler
24:04
Johnson you know from you know 200 10 or something you know I don't
24:11
even know when he came into the league that 2012 yeah yeah what okay so you
24:17
know this wasn't Tyler Johnson from the you know the Tampa Bay cup years this is no 2024 Tyler Johnson um you know who
24:25
was minus 35 last year right right so you know he did score 17 goals but you
24:31
know I think a lot of those were on the power play but he gave up 110 yeah so you know then Fabian lysel you know is a
24:39
young kid you know and we've talked about it a bunch of times like if you're gonna bring those guys up you gotta you
24:44
gotta play them and then you gotta live with the mistakes and they will make mistakes you know Matthew Patra made
24:49
mistakes Mason lorai makes mistakes you know if right Georgie merkulov comes up
24:55
he's gonna make mistakes like young players make mistakes um so you know can he give you a spark
25:03
offensively lysell maybe but they I don't know if they'll ever take the
25:08
chance to give them a real valid opportunity with good players and the
25:13
ice time to see if he can make a difference I just don't think they'll do it it's it's not the organization's Mo
25:19
it's it's not how they handle young players for whatever reason they they put they make everybody come in on the
25:26
fourth line and have to work their way up which you know for a guy like mariand is fine cuz that that's his game but for
25:35
you know offensively skilled young players that's not really their game that's not you know how they play so to
25:43
have a guy go in and try to grind with two other [ __ ] bags that can't score at all you know I it just doesn't make any
25:51
sense and you play him six minutes what is he going to do in six minutes you go up and down the ice six times and then
25:57
you you're off like if if you don't win a faceof or if you're hemmed in your own
26:02
Zone you you have you're in the offensive zone for maybe a minute you might have the puck for 15 seconds maybe
26:10
right I mean what kind of [ __ ] opportunity is that that's not an opportunity that's a that's a token yeah
26:15
we gave him a chance but he never panned out that's what that is that's what that is and you know what they come in and
26:21
expect these players to be perfect players like they come in and expect them to do everything right defensively
26:27
everything right off defensively and know exactly how to play without any mistakes how is that even possible yeah
26:33
this guy's coming in as pav datsu patri beron or Sergey federov like give me a [ __ ] break with that yeah yeah I mean
26:40
let him come in and make mistakes I'm watching other guys make mistakes all over the ice yeah but this guy can't
26:46
make a mistake or you gonna yank him like that's just unbelievable to me like what what that doesn't make any sense
26:52
that's stupid hockey like that just doesn't make any sense to me Tyler Johnson comes in 19 shifts one shot one
27:00
hit one faceof lost and 13 minutes and 51 seconds so he did absolutely nothing
27:07
yeah I mean he was fine he held his own yeah he skated around and and and and
27:12
and was a responsible player yeah that was about it like that was about it so
27:17
he not a savior he's not gonna come in here and light the place up or help the you know help the power play from being
27:25
complete dog [ __ ] to uh to respect a he's not going to do any of that like there's so many there's so many other
27:32
issues on the team that someone like him or LEL or someone is just not going to move the needle all that much with what
27:39
you need so you know that's there's the Tyler Johnson effect I mean now he might come in and he might score next game
27:45
like he might he might do something well I mean he's a veteran and he might score like you said but it's they have some
27:53
gaps like they have some real holes on the team yes they do Don uh CH to Don
28:00
Sweeney was not with the Bruins Friday and sat last Friday and Saturday but was Instead at Columbus Winnipeg and then
28:05
also at the Toronto St Louis game maybe suggests that he didn't consider it a
28:11
dire situation and a in an I need to be with my team kind of moment when they were struggling and Montgomery was on
28:17
the hot seat now in your opinion what was he doing there was it bruan stuff or
28:25
was it Team Canada stuff I think it was Team Canada stuff I think so too and now
28:31
I don't think it's the reason like it's not even close to any of the reasons why the team stinks or that the team's not
28:38
playing well but I still don't love it like I just still don't love it like the this what you can debate what kind of
28:45
distraction it is but I just you got some [ __ ] to do with your team here like
28:51
I me Nation tournament like you know the four Nation tournament like you know
28:58
careful while I roll my eyes down the street yeah like on I mean it's it's
29:03
it's not the Olympics no it's this these tournaments this is a madeup tournament
29:09
by the people don't care about them no I mean this is a madeup tournament by the NHL to generate revenue and sell and
29:16
sell jerseys and sell tickets and that's it you know they want the players wanted a best on best you know Olympic type
29:24
tournament so this is what the NHL gave him but you know David I can't play in it because he's not from one of the four
29:30
nations yeah he's not his nation's not in it yeah and and the things in Boston which is I mean ridiculous to me you
29:37
have a one of the biggest stars in the in the in the league and the tournament
29:42
is partially taking place in his home City and he's not in the tournament the biggest star on the Bruins in games
29:50
played at TD Garden is not in the tournament yeah Charlie makoy is in it
29:56
Brad marand in it can't you know yeah yeah posh's not
30:02
going to be in it no yeah can't be in it so I don't know it it just whatever but
30:09
but I look again it's not I'm not GNA make a big deal out of it but it just is
30:15
another irritation that he's there scouting for watching John tarus and making see if he
30:22
can make the cut on the team Canada team when the Bruins are 67 and one and left
30:28
the team you know pretty much uh with holes in it to begin the year and now
30:34
he's you know diddling around with a team candidate team and Sid Crosby like
30:39
I mean I'm sure he I'm sure he would say you know I can scout for Team Canada and
30:46
while I'm doing that I'm also Scouting For the Bruins I'm I mean I'm sure that's what he great yeah sure that's
30:52
but he's a hardvard man you know kill two burn smarter than you are he's smarter than you are
31:00
one stone right there he told me that he's you know and but the other thing about it is like what's he gonna do if
31:06
he's home with the if he's home with the team what's he gonna give him a pep talk win one for the win one for swe win one
31:12
for Sween I mean you know what's he The Gipper like get out of here with that like he's not doing it he's not going
31:19
down to the Rock the locker room and and giving a pep talk and you
31:24
know urging the boys forward no think would do you think like he
31:31
would pull a Milbury and like go behind the Ben no near NE I wouldn't nearly I
31:38
wouldn't put it past Sweeny no I think that's beneath him I think
31:43
he's a Harvard guy a business guy a you know it's beneath him I think I think
31:48
that he would you don't think he thinks he could do it better than Montgomery I think he thinks he can do anything better than Montgomery I think he I
31:55
think he thinks he can cut your lawn better than Montgomery can but I don't think he would coach the team I don't I
32:02
just don't think he would I it wouldn't be challenging enough for him no I mean
32:07
stick his nose up to it I don't think he would do it either I was just Ney might jump in like at an interim basis and try
32:14
to light a spark and fire guys off the blast oh he would be he would be he
32:19
would be great for the morale he would probably die you young but he he he
32:25
might he he would be more of a candidate than Sweeney Sween yeah I mean what's Don Sweeney G
32:32
to do with this rag tag Bunch honestly what what's what's gonna happen there
32:38
can you see Don Sweeny like I I I kind of want him to do it because I want him to be behind the bench and be like oh
32:45
this Rost is not very good what did I do you know yeah this yeah this guy boy
32:50
this guy does suck realization like hey yeah I I kind of [ __ ] up with this roster like this R very good yeah this
32:57
more geeky kid does he really play like this yeah Jesus I gotta coach these guys
33:03
yeah what general manager gave this group gave me this group
33:09
Jesus uh chirp three David poso benched in the third period versus Seattle
33:14
Kraken Jim Montgomery says it's a coaching decision here's what David
33:19
poshak had to say about his benching yeah of course uh that was a bad
33:24
turnover so uh how I said I take for it accountability I
33:30
guess and uh you know I just want to move forward I don't want to be any
33:35
distraction to our team you know uh the guys know how I feel about them in here and uh it's a bad play uh so how I said
33:42
I I take the accountability and already moving forward the only the only
33:48
explanation I have for him you know for the benching and then coming out and playing the way he did against Toronto
33:54
is exactly what we said is that he's just really down on the talent level of
34:00
this team he's seen his friends move on he's seen like really big parts of the
34:05
team move on he's now the focal point which he never has been like he's been
34:11
you can argue he's been the best player but it really hasn't felt that that that
34:17
that brought all the responsibility because other guys had leadership qualities other guys were really good
34:24
other guys were Hall of Fame level like burer on Chara like other guys had a big
34:31
big role on the team so it never felt like even though you could have said yeah David ponx your best player there
34:38
was still that feeling like it didn't come with all the weight now it does and
34:44
I think that could be part of it yeah I mean it could be part of it I think last year you probably felt the weight yeah
34:51
and that's the beginning of it it was the beginning of it and I think you know it got worse you know look you know I
34:56
said it before the I think the roster's worse than it was um you know and and uh
35:03
you know so I think maybe that's catching up with pasta I think maybe his frustration is growing a little bit
35:08
there but the one thing I did like did you hear him did you hear him I take accountability I heard accountability
35:15
turn for the turnover so for the love of God be the rest and we need Montgomery
35:21
to do this we need some other players on the team to do this and say look it's my fault my bad we got to be better that
35:28
part I did like um I didn't like the response though in the next game I didn't no um you know after the initial
35:34
shift I I didn't think he was I didn't think he was very good I didn't think he was engaged you know and maybe it's just
35:41
frustration that he's not getting the puck he's not getting the pocking positions to score um you know and then
35:48
I think he's probably now he's thinking about it a little bit too much like oh you know instead of trying to be
35:54
creative with it now he's thinking well I can't turn it over because I'm going to get benched so now I got to get the
36:02
puck down low and let you know do that thing so you know I you know there's a
36:08
combination of things here that I think kind of take him away from his game which is not what you want you want him
36:15
smiling and free and easy and that's not been his personality this year at all no
36:21
you know it hasn't and I'm a big believer in actions greater than words and his actions didn't match his words
36:28
to be quite honest like he said accountability Martian said accountability too when he was you know
36:33
screamed out by Montgomery they both said the right things after each of those incidents but actions are greater
36:41
than words and I just don't see them matching up right now you I'm really
36:46
interested to see how pak's going to respond at home against Calgary and Ottawa like two teams they should beat
36:53
you know they they should so you know I well Ottawa Ottawa hasn't been playing
37:00
that great I mean allmar got his tits ripped yeah you know so it's so they
37:06
could they should with a sense of urgency and Desperation should win these two home games and he should be at the
37:12
focal point like he one thing about parano is he's very good player at TD Garden over the years very good so this
37:20
this should be set up on a te for him but it's got to be a better effort than it was now I will say that Toronto
37:26
played really well defensively and are much better defensively than they used to be uh and played really well
37:32
defensively against him but he didn't fight for a lot like he didn't he didn't
37:38
grind it out he didn't you know he just didn't seem to come out with like the energy and and and stuff no and sto
37:46
lives was very good in that game for Toronto as well yeah he was and he has been good yeah um chirp for what will it
37:53
take for Jim Montgomery to finally be out of the woods you know what I think it's going to be a long way from
38:00
the out of they have to go on like win streaks of like six out of seven you know that type of thing four out of
38:07
five and start to pile up some points and get to the toward the top of the Atlantic division for him to be safe
38:15
like he can't they can't keep doing this thing through Thanksgiving no they they certainly need
38:22
to put some wins together I mean that's that's what it'll take is winning right I winning k
38:28
you know you heard it a million times so they need to win games plain and simple and if they don't win games this is
38:34
going to keep cropping up um because they haven't shown yet this season that
38:40
they can beat good teams really um all their wins against you know below
38:46
average teams with the exception maybe of LA and Toronto earlier in the year um
38:52
so other than that I mean they haven't beaten anyone no they haven't um
38:58
you know that's going to be an issue too you know if if they're stringing Wings
39:04
together against you know the also rans of the league and then they lose every game against a good team you know he's
39:10
going to be hearing that all year long yeah yeah so it it it's it's wins but
39:16
it's also quality wins and how the team plays overall if they're winning you know 76 and giving it up you know a 100
39:26
times you know that's not what you're looking for um you know and if they're and if they're winning you know two to
39:33
one and can't score on the power play and you know whatever I mean I don't
39:39
know I feel like he's they've got to string some wins together and that that
39:44
really will be the you know the Cure allall I guess in the end sure sure uh
39:50
chirp five Trent Frederick possibly on the trade block Kevin weeks actually
39:56
posted on X uh this tweet right here in speaking to sources several teams are
40:02
interested in pending UFA after this season Bruins forward Trent Frederick with his size speed toughness character
40:09
and skill he's drawing attention in the marketplace and couple that with Sweeney
40:15
at the St Louis game and Frederick as a native of St Louis is it could it be
40:21
possible that the Bruins are looking for some some of the shakeup to be someone like Frederick to go and would you trade
40:28
him and what could he even get in return I would trade him in a
40:36
second um he had his career year last year uh I think
40:42
week's uh analysis of Frederick's game is not what I see I see the size I don't
40:51
see the speed and I don't necessarily see the skill he's got a good shot right
40:56
a good shot he does and he has size and he does have toughness and and character so I'll give
41:03
him those I don't see where the speed comes he not a fast skater no the speed and the skill part I don't see it and
41:11
and the and the protecting pucks I don't see that I mean he didn't
41:16
say that but I don't see that either because he's maybe the guy on the team that uses one hand on the stick when
41:23
he's carrying the puck the most out of anyone I've ever seen in my entire life
41:29
up there with Shan thoron yeah I mean what on Earth it everything's like a I got a one-handed into the Zone because
41:36
I'm trying to hold the other guy off with my off hand because he's not fast enough to just skate by the guy right no
41:43
explosive speed yeah no so there's no speed there so he's holding the guy with one arm and one hand flipping it into
41:50
the Zone with the other arm I mean it just doesn't make any sense so yeah I'd
41:56
be willing to trade him I'd be willing to trade him for like a third round pick like right get to take the two you know
42:02
the 2.6 and and maybe you can turn that into you know package somebody else with it
42:09
throw in something else I don't know and and see if you can get an offensively
42:15
skilled player they got a bunch of Trent Fredericks on the roster already Morgan geek's Trent Frederick Max Jones who
42:21
they just sent down a Providence is Trent Frederick Riley tufty is Trent Frederick all of them are all Trent
42:27
Frederick C cck cck is Trent Frederick I mean Cole Ki right now is a better
42:33
version of Trent Frederick than ter Frederick is because he is faster he shoots he's he's scored some goals he'll
42:41
hit cck and Ki are both better versions of Frederick yeah right now sure like C
42:48
Cast look's a better Center yeah yeah I mean Frederick is a center who can't
42:54
really play center that well so he plays wing a third liner you know at best he's
42:59
not a top six forward I just don't think he gets you much by himself I don't
43:05
think maybe third round pick yeah I just don't think he gets you much I don't think he does either people seem to
43:10
think he's valuable you want to talk about the the skill you know what was more skill you're gonna love this you
43:17
know what was more skill than Trent Frederick your buddy Justin
43:25
brazzo okay you talk about this all the time you need to have an elite skill what is Trent Frederick's Elite skill
43:34
doesn't have one doesn't have one doesn't have an elite skill not an elite skater you know has size but it's you
43:40
know it's not an elite skill it's not Elite the rest of the guys on the Bruins all left side Vision hands none of it
43:47
nope decent shot not Elite no I wouldn't say has an elite shot he has a very good
43:52
shot he has a he he has a very good shot not even above average very good he has a very good it's not an elite shot
43:59
though no if he had an elite shot he'd score more than 17 goals a th% yes he's
44:06
yeah and right now he's not even clo tracking close to that no so that's what I'm saying he's replaceable he's repl
44:13
his numbers have gone down the last years he went from plus 29 to plus eight
44:19
to now minus8 yeah like it's trending the wrong way oh the whole team is trending the wrong way though yes he's
44:26
trending the wrong way now he could go to a contender Carolina or somewhere you probably wouldn't trade him there but so
44:33
Minnesota you go to Minnesota it probably add some real value to them you know tell you what him on a on a third
44:40
line with guys that actually play offense would Jes be pretty good I mean he was pretty good last year when he had
44:46
guys on the third line with him that played offense yeah you know he was pretty good when he had you know Taylor
44:51
Hall and like guys that could play offense well that's the thing that's when he did well was when he had Taylor halls and number one draft pick I me he
44:58
has Elite [ __ ] skill sure he does like that so yes I I agree like when he
45:04
does that but when he plays with Max Jones and and corre Tom Tom Jones it
45:09
doesn't it doesn't work like Quincy Jones God bless God Rest his soul yeah
45:16
yeah I mean yeah when he does that he so other PE people have to bring that out
45:22
in him you know but if a line driver people talk about players that drive
45:27
he's not a line driver I mean how how about this you put him on if you put him on the third line in Minnesota with Marcus Felino and Frederick gdo yeah all
45:35
right he might do pretty well there yeah I think he would do well he he might do well there you know what I mean th those
45:41
are the types of teams I think he would do well with you know if you put him in Los Angeles Kings with fala and somebody
45:50
you know yeah if you put them on teams that have you know some pretty tell you
45:55
what I'd make that trade in a in a hot second if you want to give me Alex turot
46:02
you can have Trent Frederick and and we'll take Alex turot with the Kings do that okay you want that Alex turot okay
46:10
Alex turkot was a was a was a first round pick as well um and he's not
46:16
necessarily struggled but he hasn't been great in La um and you know if you want
46:22
to talk about maybe you know an underachiever for Freddy yeah I mean I i' do it I would take a chance I would
46:30
take a take a chance on U on turot okay so you heard it here first from Smitty a
46:36
sneaky little trade Alex turot who 511 185 Center left shot uh played at
46:44
Wisconsin as well National development team too he did yeah he was a
46:50
2019 first round pick fifth overall um and he has a goal and four
46:58
assists Five Points Plus Eight in 13 games with the Kings plays about 12
47:03
minutes per game so he's playing down the lineup but he is a guy with with
47:09
talent that maybe is untapped and maybe you put him in there as your third line
47:15
Center but the problem is you're GNA put him out there with Tom Dick and
47:20
Harry and you know God knows if that'll do any well but maybe you put him on the
47:25
second line with Brad Martian and give him a go I don't I don't mind that trade like that's the type of trade I think
47:32
you try with a guy like Frederick is a guy with untapped potential who was once
47:38
highly regarded yeah um that you try I mean I think I think it's a
47:45
similar type of trade that you made with uh pava zaka and arala I think it's a
47:51
similar type of yeah similar thing both both those guys uh holla and zaka were
47:56
more established than both Frederick and turkot are but that's that's the type of
48:01
thing I would I would give it give a try to and you know Turk's only played 45
48:06
NHL games over the course of Four Seasons right um you know so he he's been mostly in the miners recently right
48:14
right but you know this year I think he's getting his full first you know kind of full taste you know and we'll
48:22
see how he does but you know that's that's something that I would do he's a
48:28
yeah that's an interesting one chir six where do the Bruins Go From Here
48:34
Smitty down the toilet does that spiraling down um the h i I
48:42
mean look if it was me and I'm in charge of the Bruins going forward I would have
48:48
I would have probably I I probably would let Montgomery go now I would replace
48:54
him in the interim I guess with Jay leech because I don't think you're going to be able to pry an assistant away from
49:00
another team midseason so I don't think that's going to happen so I go with
49:05
leech try to get a different voice in there and maybe get a spark from the players um and and then you know you
49:14
have to kind of tighten things up defensively I I mean I've said it a million times but I
49:21
I feel like you have to kind of get back to the like you gotta play claw ball you
49:26
got to get back to you know you got to play from the goalie out yeah goalie out you got to win games two to one you got
49:33
to tighten up the penalty kill you got to tighten up your defensive Zone you got to get better within your in zone
49:38
coverage um you know and and you got to do that thing and you got to reain in
49:43
Charlie McAvoy you got to reain in some of his defensemen who are jumping up into the plays before the pucks out of the Zone um and and you just got to
49:52
build it that way and that's what I would do for the rest of the season um and see if you can get a spark and then
49:58
maybe find somebody at the deadline I think you probably try to move on from some of the
50:04
older um veteran guys that you might be able to trade to a contender to stockpile some picks and you start the
50:11
rebuild I mean I know people hate to say it and hear it but that's what this team
50:17
needs that's what the good teams in the league have they they all went to the bottom you don't see a lot of teams that
50:24
went to the middle and then back to the top up yeah not how it works just not
50:29
how it works yeah you got to go to the bottom went to the bottom the penguins have gone to the bot like all the teams
50:37
that have Elite Talent now went to the bottom I mean you could I don't think you could name me a team that has Elite
50:44
Talent that didn't go to the bottom of the you know to the bottom of the league to the top of the draft right right if
50:50
you look at the Bruins in history here every 10 years they've gone to the bottom 05 56 15 here we are 24 25 like
51:03
it just this is kind of the cycle I think you have to just come to grips with the fact that it's just it's just
51:09
going to happen and you just you know play your younger gu see what you have out of that group and you know I think
51:16
you might just have to have a real honest conversation with yourself about this year this team this group and say
51:22
you know what let's see what we have for the future decide who we're going to go with going forward yeah and then you
51:28
know deal a couple of guys before the deadline play some young guys if they aren't panning out then we have an
51:34
offseason with some cap space and see what we can do but um I think it's you
51:40
know in ' 05 and 06 they they had uh cha and saard they signed them and then in
51:46
15 they traded luch and Hamilton and that was the reset like so I think that
51:52
that might be in the cards for them now because like you said you you can't get Elite centers and so forth in free
51:59
agency you rarely can get them in trade and you really only can get them in draft picks and they don't have any High
52:06
picks so if you keep middling around at the 23rd pick in the draft or whatever
52:12
you're not gonna get that guy or or it's GNA be very hard you're gonna have to really hit it so I think or you make a
52:21
DNA changing trade within the club right like a Charlie McAvoy go
52:31
it Florida Panthers Calgary flam type of trade I just Panthers got ahead of it
52:38
and they traded hubero right I just don't see I just don't see Don Sweeny doing that so it's it's rebuild time
52:46
it's rebuild and and honestly I'm I'm riding out the season with Sweeney and
52:52
Neely uh after the coach but you know the team doesn't do well after the
52:58
season those guys are gone I'm clean in house I want new everyone or or if I'm the owner I say don't touch mry and
53:05
you're all gone at the end of the year so the new guy can get his own guy like yeah well you sure yeah that's what I do
53:11
I say no if it's Jay leech and he's already on the staff then well yeah if it's interim that's fine but to go out
53:17
and get another guy and everything no no yeah Jay Lee is going to be the guy until the new guy comes in and decides
53:22
who he wants but I'm not letting Don Sweeney another guy like I want the rebuild done by someone
53:28
else I don't want it done with him right and then chirp number seven your 2024
53:34
draft picks let's take a look and see a little bit of an update and see what uh is going on with them Dean lerno is at
53:42
Boston College currently right now he does have he did have his first goal in
53:48
the NCAA he struggled mightily it's especially in the
53:53
beginning of the year in the faceof dot there was one game where I think he was 1 for 17 or something or other like he
53:59
really was disastrous um but he's playing on a third line third line Center um did miss
54:07
a game little dinged up little benching kind of thing um but he is uh playing
54:13
for Boston College as a freshman he's got all you know the talent in the world
54:18
and potential in the world needs to fill into his body uh very raw we talked
54:24
about his um you know the level of competition he's played against MH in
54:30
the past he played two USHL games last year most of it though was just like
54:35
prep school high school type of talent he played against so now he's playing in the NCAA for a top team in the country
54:42
uh sorry he didn't have a goal he has an assist he had his first assist um you know he's played five games he's a plus
54:48
two I mean he's doing okay but it's going to be a long stress they're loaded
54:54
you know they they have James Hain is going to probably be the number one pick in the draft uh they've got Leonard Ryan
55:00
Leonard and they've got Gabe perau and they've got you know guys who are Oscar xelic is in there Andre
55:09
gaso is also there so they have veteran college players plus high-end Talent
55:16
players and lero is kind of waiting in the weeds there probably get more of an opportunity next year but right now you
55:23
know right now he's doing okay and uh it's going to be a long haul so anybody
55:28
who's got their eggs in his basket yeah uh you're going to keep that basket in the closet for about 3 to four years put
55:34
it in the fridge so they ad doesn't get stale yeah go rotten yeah Jonathan Melo
55:41
was a fifth round pick in 2024 of the Boston Bruins he's playing for the debuk Fighting Saints of the
55:48
USHL he has a goal in six assists in 14 games he is a plus two as well Morell
55:55
has some skills some speed at 63 um they were trending that way he's a
56:00
powerful skater he's a left shot 63195 playing for debuk and doing okay
56:08
so he's a he's a guy maybe a late round pick they have some late round picks
56:14
like um Casper nassen and there's some people in there that have way down the
56:19
way down the draft board that may might have some potential and be sleepers but again if this is what we're counting on
56:27
well that's the thing that's a hard sell it's a potential in a sleeper to to maybe make the Bruins one day but not
56:34
really be an impact like Riley Duran was a late round pick and he has potential to make the Bruins but he's not going to
56:40
be anything other than a you know L third liner at best yeah that's it right
56:47
it's that's what you end up getting at the be at the most right that part of the draft Yeah if you hit on that that's
56:53
I mean that's great you hit on it but still you know that's you're still going out and having to find you know the
57:00
skill guys for the top of your you know the top of your roster right right Elliot gonald the
57:09
mobile defenseman fourth round pick 20124 playing for Quinter Pak six goal
57:15
uh six games he has one goal one assist scored his first NCAA goal recently the other night uh he's minus one gronewald
57:24
another guy with uh he's a he's a high Pace High aggression style defenseman
57:29
says 18 years old Bellow Falls Vermont but it's nice up there this time of year
57:36
yeah grald my mom's Nea Woods she was born in Bellow Falls Bow Falls Smitty's
57:43
mother yeah is born in Grown wall country there yeah right across the border from Walpole New Hampshire yeah
57:50
nice and then Lok Johanson the big the big sweet
57:57
um the big Angry swed hopefully 6'3 215 pounds left shot physical defenseman and
58:05
Lok is with the monin Wildcats of the Q Quebec major Junior Hockey League he has
58:10
a goal and four assists and a plus nine in 15 games and has played really well his first year in the queue first year
58:18
in the states uh he's a sixth-rounder he a bottom of the draft kind of guy 186th
58:24
overall big phys physical nasty kind of Jackson Edward type makeup to him and um
58:32
you know we need big you know the Bruns need big nasty defenseman they need to Trend toward that who can play but who
58:40
who uh won't screw it up right but um right now Nikita sedor I I just he's
58:47
giving me Garnett Hathaway Vibes of a guy who's not coming is coming in and
58:52
not playing as advertised yeah I I feel like his game
58:58
does not fit the Bruin system right and I I don't think they took that into
59:04
account same with Hathaway I think they they saw the player and they're like oh wow he for checks with abandon and he
59:10
crushes guys and stuff but that's not the Bruins game no they don't send four Checkers in with abandoned to crush guys
59:18
they should but they don't um part of it might be the the speed Team Speed part
59:24
of it might just be their you know defensive structure like kind of fall back into like a one two two type of
59:30
thing mhm so you know I don't know I we'll see
59:35
with zadorov because he's gonna be here for a while so um you know hopefully he
59:42
can adjust to um to the Bruin style or
59:47
there'll be a new coach in with a new style that will fit zadorov better yeah
59:53
yeah and maybe zadorov will have Renda p having a pretty good year and fit into his uh style he's been playing and
59:59
appearing with makoy yeah so getting more you know more ice time and we'll
1:00:04
see what uh what kind of if he can get some of the goal last year he scored some goals we can see how many goals he
1:00:11
scores and uh and you can bet on it and why don't you do it and this is a way you can do it through draftking

1:01:19
a beauty for this week and it is the backup goal tender for your Boston
1:01:25
Bruins Jonas Corp pasalo to love you they're going to be loving you from down
1:01:31
until d corpy uh had a great showing great showing at Philadelphia gets the
1:01:36
shut out is playing you know remarkably better right now he's at two and two on
1:01:42
the year he has a 27 goals against and an 894 save percentage but those numbers
1:01:48
are improving five games played out of the 14 so he's playing roughly at a pace of
1:01:56
you know high 20s so and I think he I think now I feel better about him
1:02:02
playing the 25 to 28 kind of game schedule that I think he'll need to play
1:02:08
so that San if they do by the grace of God gets to the playoffs Swan isn't completely gassed by the time you get
1:02:15
there so I think I think he is finding his game like some had predicted he
1:02:21
might with with the Bruins and right now feeling much more comfortable I'll tell what I can noticeably I can notice a
1:02:28
difference in the way he gets post to post that's the big draw that's the big
1:02:33
takeaway yeah I think goalie Bob you know he they gave him kind of like a 10day break there where he you know
1:02:40
wasn't playing games and I they probably went to work during practice had some goalie sessions or whatever and and he
1:02:47
seemed to kind of find his game since then and has been you know pretty good so you know that's that's what they need
1:02:53
out of him they need him to come in and spell swan and and and play well and he's done that recently so Props to him
1:03:00
props to you know the goalie whisper goalie Bob and um you know hopefully it continues for the rest of the season
1:03:06
because they're certainly like you said going going to need it yes um the Bender
1:03:12
unfortunately is Mr David poock Bender just um you know obviously
1:03:21
he's you know the best player on the team he's one of the leaders of the team
1:03:27
um I Pro I don't think honestly I don't think he should have an a um but you
1:03:32
know who else are you going to give it to really um when it comes down to it right um but I I just didn't love his
1:03:39
response after the benching I didn't and um you know I I kind of expected more
1:03:45
from him generally speaking he's responded well and the
1:03:50
team has responded well when um you know they face some adversity
1:03:56
so we'll see actually how that goes um but you know I didn't love it and I I am
1:04:02
looking forward to seeing you know how he comes out on um on Thursday night yeah it'll be interesting to see how he
1:04:09
plays these next couple of home games again it's his his Turf you know he's played well at home throughout his
1:04:15
career I would I would expect some sort of better response um and I'm hoping for it you
1:04:22
know I'm just hoping for uh just a you know the whole the whole makeup I'm just hope hoping for a better all-rounded
1:04:28
game less penalties taken throughout the team I mean that the minor penalties are
1:04:34
just are just killing the team and the fact that the penalty kill gives up
1:04:39
three goals a game is not a recipe for a success at all I mean that's just going to kill them so they if they're going to
1:04:46
tighten it up like you say defensively and and really kind of simplify their game they got to stay out of the box
1:04:52
because if they're bring up three penalty three Power Play Goals then they're not going to win anyway because they're not going to be able to score as
1:04:58
much no so basically you're screwed so yeah if they don't stay if they don't
1:05:04
figure out a way to stay out of the box they're done like they they they just don't have enough offensive talent to
1:05:10
keep up with that right they don't no no doubt uh week ahead November 7th versus
1:05:15
the Calgary Flames November 9 November 9th against the Ottawa Senators and
1:05:21
potentially Lena alar and then November 12th versus St Louis Blues and looking
1:05:27
at the Flames coming up uh guy to watch is Rasmus Anderson the defenseman he had
1:05:33
a really good start to the year is four goals seven assists 42 block shots faring away the most on the team he's
1:05:40
been an absolute stud for them playing 25 minutes per game uh he's just a
1:05:47
excellent underrated defenseman for them uh then Jonathan hubo has eight points and then and then kind of some balanced
1:05:53
scoring but they've had some difficult years nazim cadri is a minus 10 yeah he's been struggling he's been really
1:06:00
struggling it's a guy you might kick the tires on you know if if you can get some
1:06:06
sort of deal where sell low take some money you know if the calary Flames take
1:06:11
some money you know maybe you find a change of scenery I mean he'll get suspended two games into the playoffs
1:06:17
but at least you have him for a little bit of time yeah I mean cry's a guy who's
1:06:23
always kind of been you know someone I'm I'm intrigued by you know as a as a
1:06:30
different option at Center but yeah I mean he's always played pretty well against even when he was you know
1:06:35
concussing the Bruins and and taking you know suspension worthy runs at Bruins
1:06:41
guys right he always played pretty well against them so that's why it was it was
1:06:46
always disappointing when he was with the Leafs or or whatever that he would do those type of things because he
1:06:52
always used to seem to produce against Boston so for him to get you know kicked out of games uh against the Bruins was
1:07:00
you know just you know kind of boneheaded plays on his part but he is kind of that playmaking Center that um
1:07:08
you know that they could use that maybe would unlock a guy like David poso to uh
1:07:13
to score some goals so um yeah he would definitely be a guy I would kick the tires on even though he's getting a
1:07:19
little up there in age a little bit but um you know I think he still has some good hockey left in him right and then
1:07:26
uh 2020 first round pick for the Flames Conor Zari uh is a first liner for them
1:07:32
three goals five assists eight points he's 23 years old um he's a guy to pay
1:07:37
attention to on Thursday night when they play the Calgary Flames and hopefully the Bruins get back right back at it um
1:07:45
and get back on the winning side at home and get a couple of wins here at home before they go out to St Louis which is
1:07:50
another you know winnable game they without Robert Thomas like that's another one so three games here that are
1:07:56
certainly attainable uh and they need all three they really do they could use a quick little three- game winning streak
1:08:03
because then they go to Dallas so they could use these three just to kind of
1:08:09
because they're you know they're under 500 now it it' be nice to get a couple games about 500 and feeling feeling
1:08:16
pretty good about yourself before you you head down to Dallas against a really really good Stars team sure sure uh we
