game for the Boston Bruins Smitty yeah it was uh the first two periods were uh

awful uh it was uh a lot of Avalanche play in the Bruins defensive Zone uh the

Bruins through two periods I believe had somewhere in the neighborhood of eight or nine shots they were outshot I think

in the first two periods 18 eight shots in the first two periods five in the first three in the

second and then seven in the third yeah it was it was uh it was not a great first two periods but

uh Colorado was controlling play and um you know he kind of held them in in the

the the Avalanche took a one- nothing lead into the third and you thought well you know the Bruins aren't going to

the Carolina Hurricanes and the Colorado Avalanche kept us all extremely

entertained last night in the NHL trade market uh Carolina acquired moo ranin

from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for second round pick a fourth round pick

uh Marty NIS and Jack jury yeah and then ranin went through Chicago on his way to

Carolina Chicago kept 50% of his cap hit which is four and a half million and

tagged Taylor Hall right along with that and sent that back and they only got a third round pick back yeah I don't know

what the hell Chicago is thinking on that on being a part of this thing they traded essentially they traded Taylor

those guys fit together pretty well can he keep up this pace no he can't because he scored in four straight and if he

like that where he fits in really nicely with guys who are really talented and

knows where to go and knows how to score uh because he does have an elite shot and he'll play physically and he'll get

into the corners and dig pucks out and he'll do all the kind of dirty things that the playmaking people the

superstars on those lines need so I do think he can be a top six guy and he can
