Bill Zonnon is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound left-shot center from Montreal, Quebec. The 18-year-old forward spent the past three seasons with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and has contributed 62 goals and 118 assists in 195 regular season games. In the postseason, Zonnon scored 16 goals with 17 assists in 32 total games. In the U17 World Hockey Championships, Zonnon tallied one goal and two assists in six games for Canada.

Bill Zonnon is ranked by some hockey evaluators as a mid to late first round selection as a left wing. The following list will show the scouting rankings for Bill Zonnon:

Ranked #20 by Inside The Rink
Ranked #31 by NHL Central Scouting (North American skaters)
Ranked 32 by Daily Faceoff
Ranked #23 by Recruit Scouting
Ranked #27 by Sportsnet
Ranked #34 by TSN/Bob McKenzie

Scouting Report

Zonnon has seen his stock rise in the last year or so after being the sixth overall pick in the 2022 QMJHL Draft back in 2022. Zonnon has improved his offensive production by leaps and bounds each season in the Q while taking a high volume of shots on net.

Zonnon has good size but could still fill out his frame in preparation for the physicality of the NHL, but his ability to be a versatile forward lends to some upside. The Montreal native moved from left wing to center his season and is still developing his faceoff and 200-foot acumen. This move to the pivot could help Zonnon play different positions in the pros.

Projection:

Second Round – Washington #37
