Ryker Lee is a 6’0”, 181 lb. forward, has a high hockey IQ and works hard when handling the puck. In the 58 regular-season games Lee played for the Madison Capitals of the USHL, Lee scored 31 goals and added 37 assists. This led Lee to be named USHL rookie of the year for the 2024-25 season. Lee, a Wilmette, IL native, will play the 2025-26 NCAA season for the Michigan State Spartans.

Lee is willing to set up his teammates. The USHL was not the first time this statistical output was on display. At the same time, playing with powerhouse AAA program Shattuck-St. Mary’s Lee had 55 goals and 68 assists for 123 points in 57 games. Lee is one of the best young players in the 2006 age group.

In conclusion, Lee is projected to be selected at the end of the first round or the end of the second round in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft:

Scouting Report:

Ryker Lee is a hard-working prospect given his size. Listed at 6’0”, Lee can stick-handle and pass at an elite level. The only skill that Lee does not possess is skating with speed. Despite this lack of speed, Lee can get to the middle of the ice to draw pressure away from the other players on the ice with him. Prospect content creator Ryan Ma gives Lee a 92% score on his ability to control the puck and make plays out of nothing to the other players in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

Additionally, Lee’s stickhandling and passing ability make him a dangerous weapon on the power-play. Beyond that, Lee backchecks and plays in all three zones. These abilities make Lee a high-upside prospect who projects to be drafted in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft.

Projection:
