Adirondack Thunder Re-Sign Patrick Grasso

The Adirondack Thunder have announced that they have re-signed forward Patrick Grasso for the 2023-24 season. “Our single-season goal-scoring record holder is back,” said head coach Pete MacArthur. “We’re thrilled to have Patrick Grasso return for the upcoming season. He’s a true professional and embodies what it means to be a professional ice hockey player on and off the ice. We are grateful to have him for a third year here in Adirondack!” This is a massive signing for the Thunder, as most leader scorers from the previous season end up heading overseas for more money or getting signed to an AHL deal. Grasso had a career year last year while re-writing the Thunder history book. Grasso finished the season with 37 goals and 22 assists for 59 points in 64 games; his 37 goals are a single-season franchise record. He also had eight multi-goal games. There’s a lot to like about the 27-year-old winger, he’s a guy who has no problem finding the back of the net and will easily find his way onto the top line for the Thunder. Grasso will be entering his third season with the Thunder. This is the third signing by Adirondack this off-season, as all three have been returning players
