Adirondack Thunder Re-Sign Ryan Smith

The Adirondack Thunder announced that they have re-signed forward Ryan Smith for the 2023-24 season, Smith is the Thunder’s second signing after they signed Yanick Turcotte last week. Smith will be entering his third season with the Thunder as he’s coming off a career year in which he put up 16 goals, and 26 assists for 42 points in 70 games. There’s a lot to like about the 26-year-old graduate from UMaine, he’s a strong two-way forward who found his scoring touch last season, and heading into next season, he’s a guy that MacArthur can place on any of the three lines, “Ryan is so valuable to us, he can play left-wing, right-wing, center, he’s the first guy over the boards when we are on the penalty kill, he developed into a power-play guy, and he had a great year, and I don’t think he had a goal in his first 15 games, don’t be surprised if he’s wearing a letter next season. Smith did wear an A in his last season with the Maine Blackbears.
