Adirondack Thunder Sign Tristan Ashbrook

We’re three games into the season, and the Thunder are already looking for reinforcements with Zach Walker, Shawn Weller, and now Jack Jeffers on IR. The Thunder are a little thin up front, and today, they went out and signed Tristan Ashbrook to a contract. Ashbrook spent his freshman year at nearby RPI, where he put up nine goals and four assists for 13 points in 34 games before transferring to Michigan Tech for his final three years, where he’d put up 28 goals, and 17 assists for 45 points in 94 games. The 25-year-old winger does have some ECHL experience, as after finishing his collegiate career, he signed with the Savannah Ghost Pirates, where he played in five games and put up one assist over the course of those five games. Ashbrook, after being signed, was placed on reserve, Adirondack has a lot of players with connections to the Ghost Pirates as they traded for Tristian Thompson and Jack Jeffers, who came to camp on a PTO and would make the team after he spent four games with the Ghost Pirates last year, scoring in his first professional game, and played one game with Adirondack being finding himself on the IR.

Adirondack heads to Worcester this weekend for two games against the Railers before heading back to Worcester on November 7th for a rare Tuesday 1 p.m. puck drop.
