
Today, the San Jose Barracuda saw forward Andrew Poturalski sign overseas for the 2025-26 season. He will play with the Avangard Omsk of the KHL. In 59 games this season he had 73 points on 30 goals and 43 assists. He was a plus-six with 13 power-play goals, four shorthanded goals, two game-winning goals, and 34 penalty minutes. Poturalski also played in three games for the Sharks this season recording an assist. He was a minus-one with two penalty minutes.

Poturalski started in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. In 115 games he had 100 points on 41 goals and 59 assists. He was a -15 with 71 penalty minutes. He then went to the University of New Hampshire where in two seasons he played in 77 games recording 81 points on 36 goals and 45 assists. Poturalski was a minus-four with ten power-play goals, three game-winning goals, and 40 penalty minutes.
He would then spend ten seasons in the AHL appearing in 527 games between five teams. Poturalski had 493 points on 161 goals and 332 assists. He was a +53 with 56 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, 28 game-winning goals, and 224 penalty minutes. In 81 career Calder Cup Playoff games he had 73 points in 26 goals and 47 assists. He was a +32 with four power-play goals, six game-winning goals, and 65 penalty minutes. He’s also played in nine career NHL games recording three assists. He was a minus-six with two power-play points and two penalty minutes.
