
The Bakersfield Condors joined in on the offseason fun as they signed former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Mats Lindgren to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. He appeared in seven games for the Penguins. He failed to record a point, finished as a minus-three with eight penalty minutes. Lindgren appeared in 56 games for the Wheeling Nailers this past season, recording 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists. He was plus-four with two power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and ten penalty minutes. In five Kelly Cup Playoff games, he was held pointless. He was a minus-three with two penalty minutes.

Mats Lindgren
He spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League. In his first three seasons, he played with the Kamloops Blazers. In 94 games, he had 54 points on six goals and 48 assists. He was a +21 with 54 penalty minutes. In the middle of that, Mats Lindgren played in ten games for the Chicago Cougars of the USPHL Premier league. He had 11 points on two goals and nine assists; he had four penalty minutes. In his final two years in the WHL, he played for the Red Deer Rebels. He played in 126 games, and he had 78 points on 18 goals and 57 assists. He was a plus-seven with 66 penalty minutes.
