AHL: Bakersfield Condors Sign Mason Millman

The Bakersfield Condors this afternoon announced the signing of 24-year-old defenseman Mason Millman. The deal is a one-year, one-way AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Millman this season appeared in 52 games for the Providence Bruins, recording 14 points on five goals and nine assists. He was a +20 with two game-winning goals and 16 penalty minutes. In four Calder Cup Playoff games, he had an assist and was a minus-two. He also played in ten games for the Maine Mariners, recording six points on two goals and four assists. He was a minus-six with a power-play goal and a game-winning goal.

Mason Millman

The Philadelphia Flyers drafted Millman 103rd overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the Flyers organization, he spent three seasons with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. In 130 games, he recorded 69 points on 16 goals and 53 assists. He was a +52 with 101 penalty minutes. He then joined the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2020-21. Millman played 13 games, recording three assists. He was a minus-three with eight penalty minutes.

The following season, he split time between the Phantoms and Reading Royals of the ECHL. In 12 games with the Phantoms, he had an assist. He was a minus-five with eight penalty minutes. In 36 games with the Royals, he had 25 points on eight goals and 17 assists. He was a +23 with two game-winning goals and 16 penalty minutes. Millman played in 13 Kelly Cup Playoff games, recording three points on a goal and two assists. He was a minus-two.

In 2022-23, he played in just one game with the Phantoms, failing to record a point and finishing as a minus-one. He played in 63 games with the Royals, recording 45 points on eight goals and 37 assists. He was a +13 with two game-winning goals and 37 penalty minutes. Millman played in 11 Kelly Cup Playoff games, recording seven points on a goal and six assists. He was a plus-one. Millman in 2023-24 played in 15 games with the Phantoms, recording four assists. He was a minus-three with ten penalty minutes. Millman also played in 44 games with the Royals, recording 26 points on seven goals and 19 assists. He was a minus-six with a power-play goal and 47 penalty minutes.
