AHL: Belleville Senators Sign Landen Hookey

The Belleville Senators this morning signed 21-year-old winger Landen Hookey from Canada. The 6’5″ 223 lbs forward played in 68 games for the Owen Sound Attack this past season, recording 70 points on 34 goals and 36 assists. He was a plus-five with ten power-play goals, three shorthanded goals, seven game-winning goals, and 77 penalty minutes. In four playoff games, he had three points on a goal and two assists. He was a minus-eight with a power-play goal and 13 penalty minutes.

Landen Hookey

Hookey, in his first season in the OHL, played with the Soo Greyhounds. He played in 43 games, recording five points on a goal and four assists. He was a minus-two with 25 penalty minutes. In six playoff games, he was held pointless. He finished with a plus-one and seven penalty minutes. In 2022-23, he spent time with the Greyhounds and the Sound Attack. He combined to play in 68 games, recording 33 points on 15 goals and 18 assists. He was even in plus/minus with two game-winning goals and 60 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, he played in four games, going pointless again, and he was a minus-three with two penalty minutes.

He spent all of 2023-24 with the Sound Attack. In 64 games, he had 29 points on 15 goals and 14 assists. He was a minus-eight with two power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 66 penalty minutes. In four playoff games, he had an assist. He was a minus-three with two penalty minutes.
