
The Milwaukee Admirals will not have their assistant captain for the 2025-26 season. Forward Cal O’Reilly is signing with the SCL Tigers of the NL. O’Reilly, this past season in 68 games for the Admirals, had 49 points on 11 goals and 38 assists. He was a plus-ten with three power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, two game-winning goals, and four penalty minutes. In ten Calder Cup Playoff games, he had three points on two goals and an assist. He was a minus-two with a power-play goal and two penalty minutes. He played in his 1,000th career AHL game this past season as well.

Cal O’Reilly
O’Reilly spent three seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL before joining the AHL/NHL. In 197 games, he had 193 points on 44 goals and 149 assists. He was a plus-ten with 26 penalty minutes. O’Reilly would go on to play in 1,022 AHL games between the Admirals on two separate stints, Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Iowa Wild, Toronto Marlies, Rochester Americans, Utica Comets, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, and Portland Pirates. He had 783 points on 177 goals and 606 assists. He was a minus-seven with 50 power-play goals, 18 shorthanded goals, 30 game-winning goals, and 192 penalty minutes. In 115 Calder Cup Playoff games, he had 68 points on 19 goals and 49 assists. He was a minus-four with ten power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, four game-winning goals, and 12 penalty minutes.
He played in 145 career NHL games with the Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, and Minnesota Wild. O’Reilly had 49 points on 16 goals and 33 assists. He was a -11 with four power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 14 penalty minutes. He also played in the KHL and VHL between 2012-2014. In 49 games, he had 24 points on four goals and 20 assists. He was a minus-two with 32 penalty minutes.
