Wright played in 60 games for the Bakersfield Condors, recording 24 points on 13 goals and 11 assists. He was a minus-six with two power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and 70 penalty minutes.

Wright played four seasons at Bowling Green State University. In his first season, in 36 games, he had 25 points on nine goals and 16 assists. He was a +11 with six power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and 40 penalty minutes. In his second year, he played in 39 games, recording 20 points with nine goals and 11 assists. He was a plus-eight with four power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and 20 penalty minutes.
In his third season, he played in 38 games, recording 27 points on 20 goals and seven assists. He was a plus-one with nine power-play goals, four game-winning goals, and 22 penalty minutes. In his final season at Bowling Green, he played in 31 games, recording 29 points on 13 goals and 16 assists. He was a +26 with 32 penalty minutes. Wright then transferred to the University of Denver, where in 41 games he had 34 points on 23 goals and 11 assists. He was a +19 with nine power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 12 penalty minutes.
Proffessional
In 2022-23, he joined the Colorado Eagles, where in two games, he was held pointless. He also played in 64 games for the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. He had 63 points on 29 goals and 34 assists. Wright was a minus-eight with eight power-play goals, nine game-winning goals, and 136 penalty minutes. In the Kelly Cup Playoff, he appeared in six games, recording seven points on two goals and five assists. He was a minus-one with two power-play goals and 23 penalty minutes.
Wright then joined the Condors, where in 48 games he had 21 points on 12 goals and nine assists. He was a plus-nine with two game-winning goals and 30 penalty minutes. Wright also appeared in two Calder Cup Playoff games but was held pointless; he finished as a minus-one. He also played in four games for the Fort Wayne Komets, where he had five points on four goals and an assist. He was a plus-two with a power-play goal, a game-winning goal, and six penalty minutes.
