
The Chicago Wolves yesterday signed 25-year-old forward Tyler Weiss to a two-way AHL/ECHL contract. Today, they signed 25-year-old forward David Gagnon to a two-way AHL/ECHL contract. Weiss, in 63 games for the South Carolina Stingrays, recorded 56 points on 22 goals and 34 assists. He was a +20 with four power-play goals, five game-winning goals, and 52 penalty minutes. In seven Kelly Cup Playoff games, he had three assists. He was a minus-four with 19 penalty minutes. Gagnon, in 20 games for the Rapid City Rush, recorded eight points on six goals and two assists. He was a -16 with two power-play goals and eight penalty minutes.

Tyler Weiss
Weiss played his college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In 159 games, he recorded 116 points on 28 goals and 88 assists. He was a +12 with two power-play goals, five game-winning goals, and 146 penalty minutes. In his first season in the ECHL, Weiss played for the Newfoundland Growlers. In 56 games, he had 39 points on 14 goals and 25 assists. He was a minus-one with five power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and 54 penalty minutes.
David Gagnon
Gagnon played four seasons at Lindenwood University. Three of those four seasons were in the NCAA. In 90 career NCAA games, he had 74 points on 32 goals and 42 assists. He was a -13 with nine power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, three game-winning goals, and 65 penalty minutes.
