
The Rochester Americans last week went 3-0-0-0. They are now at 70 points with the six-week period and hold first place in the North Division. They played all three games at home. On Wednesday, the American beats the Cleveland Monsters 4-0. On Friday, they beat the Belleville Senators 6-3. Finally, on Sunday they beat the Toronto Marlies 1-0. Due to the Americans’ week, the AHL Player of the Week was named to goalie Devon Levi who made two starts which were both shutouts. He went 2-0-0 with a 0.00 goals-against average and 56 saves. This season in 26 games with Rochester he is 18-6-2 with a 2.17 goals-against average, a .918 save percentage, and five shutouts. In the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres in nine games he is 2-7-0 with a .872 save percentage and a 4.12 goals-against average.

Devon Levi
The Buffalo Sabres drafted Levi with the 212th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. After being drafted before he joined the Sabres he spent the 2021-22 season with Northeastern University going 21-10-1 with a .952 save percentage, a 1.54 goals-against average, and ten shutouts. In his last season at Northeastern, he went 17-12-5 with a 2.24 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage, and six shutouts. He then joined Buffalo making seven appearances going 5-2-0 with a .905 save percentage and a 2.94 goals-against average. Last season he spent time with Buffalo and Rochester. With Buffalo in 23 games, he went 10-8-2 with a .899 save percentage and a 3.10 goals-against average. In his time with Rochester in 26 games he went 16-6-4 with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.
