He was even in plus/minus with 8:20 of average time on ice. He finished third on Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in points, tied for first in goals, and fifth in assists.

The 26-year-old forward started his career in the NHL, appearing in 56 games for the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2019-20. He had 20 points on ten goals and ten assists. He was a minus-ten with five power-play goals, four game-winning goals, and eight penalty minutes. The next season, he was loaned to HIFK of Liiga. In 16 games, he had 17 points on eight goals and nine assists. He was a plus-two with two penalty minutes. Helaso played in 20 games with the Blue Jackets. Bemström had five points on two goals and five assists. He was a plus-two with a power-play goal.
In 2021-22, he played in 41 games with Columbus, recording 11 points on six goals and five assists. He was a minus-one with a game-winning goal and four penalty minutes. In four games for the Cleveland Monsters, he had two goals. He was a minus-three with a power-play goal and two penalty minutes. The next season, he played in 55 games for Columbus, recording 22 points on seven goals and 15 assists. He was a -11 with three power-play goals and six penalty minutes. In 21 games with the Monsters, he had 31 points on 14 goals and 17 assists. He was a minus-one with eight power-play goals, three game-winning goals, a shorthanded goal, and four penalty minutes.
Later North American Career
In 2023-24, Bemström played in 32 games for Columbus, recording 11 points on five goals and six assists. He was a minus-five with three power-play goals and ten penalty minutes. He also played in eight games for the Monster, recording 14 points on ten goals and four assists. Bemström was a plus-nine with two power-play goals, three game-winning goals, and six penalty minutes. He was also traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he played in 24 games, recording five points on three goals and two assists. Bemström was even in plus/minus with a power-play goal and two penalty minutes.
