The Checkers are coming off a 5-2 win last Sunday over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. They wrapped up March going 10-5-0-0 averaging 3.3 goals per game while allowing 2.5 goals per game. Charlotte beat Providence in two games on March 25^th and 26^th. They sit second in the Atlantic Division, entering tonight’s game trailing Hershey by three points.

Providence Bruins News & Notes:

The Bruins picked up a 2-1 win on Saturday against the Hartford Wolf Pack to clinch a playoff spot in the Calder Cup playoffs. They would lose Sunday 3-2 to the Springfield Thunderbirds. Providence concluded March going 6-5-0-2, averaging 3.5 goals per game while allowing 2.8 goals per game. They enter tonight in fourth place in the Atlantic Division, trailing third by three points and six points back of Hershey for first place in the Atlantic.
