The Checkers got back in the win column on Saturday with a 5-2 win over the Bridgeport Islanders. The win comes after they lost 4-0 to the Bruins on Friday night. The Checkers will look to keep pace with the Hershey Bears for that top seed in to the Atlantic Division.
Providence Bruins News & Notes:
The Bruins suffered a tough loss on Saturday night on the road to Utica, which comes after they got back in the win column on Friday with a 4-0 win over these same Checkers. That was Providence’s first win over Charlotte in the 2024-25 season. They are holding on to the fourth seed in the Atlantic Division but are looking to make a jump if they can keep finding wins.
