Knight has a record of 9-6-3-2, a 2.62 goals allowed average, and a save percentage of.901 This was the fourth match-up of the season against the Checkers, and the Bears have won three out of the four meetings in the season. The Checkers started early, with Justin Sourdif scoring a goal with Dennis Cesana and Uvis Balinskies. Little did the Checkers know it would be their only goal of the game. The Bears would then tie the game at 6:58 in the first period with Mike Vecchione scoring his ninth goal of the season with Alex Limoges and Pierrick Dube assisting the goal.

The game would stay tied until the second period when Hendrick Rybinski scored his first of the season at 10:05 in the second period with Aaron Ness and Jimmy Huntington assisting him on the goal. Dube would then go ahead and score again, making it his nineteenth goal of the season at 17:00 in the 3rd period, with Alex Limoges assisting him with the goal.

When Dube shot, it did not go in; it would go and hit the glass, then come back and deflect off the Knight and go in, making it a good goal. That goal would go ahead and put Dube tied for most goals in the league this season. He is tied with Rocco Grimaldi, who is currently with the Chicago Wolves.
