AHL: Henderson Silver Knights Re-Sign Brandon Hickey

The Henderson Silver Knights re-signed defenseman Brandon Hickey to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Hickey this season for Henderson in 29 games recorded four points on two goals and two assists. He was a minus-eight with four penalty minutes.

Hickey played his college hockey at Boston University. In four seasons he played in 147 games recording 54 points on 21 goals and 33 assists. He was a +21 with 132 penalty minutes. Hickey was a part of the team Terriers team that went to the Championship in 2015. He scored a goal in the semifinal game. He’s played in the AHL for eight seasons spending time with the Silver Knights on two separate stints, Abbotsford Canucks, Chicago Wolves, and Rochester Americans.

In 185 games he has 31 points on ten goals and 21 assists. He is a plus-four with a game-winning goal and 73 penalty minutes. In 2022-23 he played in 22 games in the ECHL with the Florida Everblades. Hickey recorded seven points on three goals and four assists. He was a plus-nine and had eight penalty minutes. He also won the Kelly Cup with the Everblades that season, playing in 22 playoff games, he recorded three assists. Hickey was a plus-two and had 30 penalty minutes.
