Lucas Johansen
The Washington Capitals drafted Johansen 28th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He spent his first seven seasons with the Hershey Bears, playing in 257 games, recording 92 points on 20 goals and 72 assists. Johansen was a plus-nine with four power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 82 penalty minutes. He was a part of the two Bears Calder Cup Championship teams in 2023 and 2024. In 29 games over both runs, he had 11 points on two goals and nine assists. He was a +12 with a game-winning goal and 12 penalty minutes.
Lucas Johansen went on to play in 41 games for the Bears in the Calder Cup Playoffs, recording 14 points on two goals and 12 assists. He was a +13 with a game-winning goal and 14 penalty minutes. Johansen played in nine career NHL games, all for the Capitals, recording two assists. He was a plus-two and had four penalty minutes. Before joining the Capitals organization, he played in the Western Hockey League with the Kelowna Rockets. In three seasons with the Rockets, he played in 202 games, recording 98 points on 17 goals and 81 assists. He was a +54 with 75 penalty minutes.
