
The Hershey Bears have had a tough offseason, seeing some of their top names sign overseas. Today, they re-signed goalie Seth Eisele and then signed forward Kyler Kupka. Eisele spent last season playing in one game for Hershey. He went 0-1-0 with a 4.10 goals-against average and a .800 save percentage. He also played in 31 games for the South Carolina Stingrays, going 19-10-1 with a 2.30 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage, and three shutouts. In two Kelly Cup Playoff games, he went 1-1-0 with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
Kupka played in 54 games for the South Carolina Stingrays, recording 57 points on 29 goals and 28 assists. He was a +24 with ten power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, five game-winning goals, and 33 penalty minutes. In seven Kelly Cup Playoff games, he had three points on a goal and two assists. He was a minus-seven with a power-play goal and four penalty minutes. Kupka was also loaned to the Calgary Wranglers, appearing in 12 games he had two assists. He was a minus-three with two penalty minutes.
Seth Eisele
Eisele played his college hockey at Lake Superior State University and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In three seasons at Lake Superior State, he made 34 appearances, going 14-16-0 with a 2.74 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. In eight games at Nebraska-Omaha, he went 4-1-1 with a 2.37 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.
Kyler Kupka
Kupka spent five seasons at St. Cloud State University. In 144 games, he recorded 85 points on 32 goals and 53 assists. He was a +19 with nine power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, two game-winning goals, and 38 penalty minutes. Kupka joined the Stingrays in 2023-24, playing in seven games, and he recorded four points on two goals and two assists. He was even in plus/minus with a power-play goal.
