AHL: Hershey Bears Sign Simon Pinard

The Hershey Bears today signed left winger Simon Pinard to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. This past season, in four games for the Henderson Silver Knights, he didn’t record a point. He was a minus-three with two penalty minutes. Pinard also appeared in 63 games for the Tahoe Knight Monsters of the ECHL, recording 64 points on 33 goals and 31 assists. He was a +21 with nine power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, six game-winning goals, and 21 penalty minutes. In six Kelly Cup Playoff games, he had seven points on four goals and three assists. He was a plus-one with two power-play goals and two penalty minutes.

Simon Pinard

The 24-year-old forward spent four five seasons in the QMJHL, four with Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and one with Gatineau Olympiques. In his time with the Armada, he played in 177 games, recording 144 points on 77 goals and 67 assists. He was a plus-four with 76 penalty minutes. In 37 games with the Olympiques, he had 51 points on 25 goals and 26 assists. He was a +13 with 14 penalty minutes. Pinard played in 21 playoff games in the QMJHL, recording 14 points on seven goals and seven assists. He was minus-six with four penalty minutes.

In 2022-23, he played with the University of New Brunswick of USports, recording 29 points on 19 goals and ten assists. He was a plus-eight with 34 penalty minutes. In seven playoff games, he had 12 points on five goals and seven assists. He was a plus-three. Pinard then went on to join the Silver Knights, playing in 13 games, recording an assist. He was a minus-seven with two penalty minutes. In 59 games for the Savannah Ghost Pirates, he had 48 points on 24 goals and 24 assists. He was a minus-ten with eight power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, four game-winning goals, and 14 penalty minutes.
