
The Toronto Marlies see another player from their 2024-25 team sign overseas. Today, it was announced that forward Joseph Blandisi is signing with SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL. Blandisi played in 58 games this past season with the Marlies. He had 35 points on 15 goals and 20 assists. He was a plus-seven with three power-play goals, three shorthanded goals, and 82 penalty minutes.

Joseph Blandisi
The Colorado Avalanche drafted Blandisi with the 162nd overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He spent four seasons in the OHL with the Owen Sound Attack, Ottawa 67’s, and Barrie Colts. In 246 games, he had 244 points on 108 goals and 136 assists. He was a plus-one with 388 penalty minutes. Blandisi has since appeared in 101 NHL games with the New Jersey Devils, Anaheim Ducks, and Pittsburgh Penguins. He had 31 points on ten goals and 21 assists. He was a -26 with five power-play goals, and four game-winning goals with 78 penalty minutes.
Blandisi also appeared in 448 career AHL games with the Albany Devils, Binghamton Devils, San Diego Gulls, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Laval Rocket, and Marlies. He had 321 points on 126 goals and 195 assists. Blandisi was a +44 with 38 power-play goals, nine shorthanded goals, 21 game-winning goals, and 664 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 25 Calder Cup Playoff games, recording 13 points on five goals and eight assists. Blandisi was a minus-two with two game-winning goals and 48 penalty minutes.
