AHL: Laval Rocket Sign 24-Year-Old Forward to PTO

The Laval Rocket lead the North Division with a 37-16-2-1 record and 77 points. They hold a three-point lead and have the most points in the Eastern Conference.  In their last ten games, they are 6-4-0-0 averaging 3.5 goals per game while allowing 3.1 goals per game. Today they signed forward Will Dineen to a Professional Tryout contract. Dineen’s season came to an end at Yale University after they were eliminated in the ECAC Conference Tournament after a 6-1 loss to Cornell.

Will Dineen

Dineen played in the USHL from 2019-2021. In 2019-20 he played for the Omaha Lancers and Sioux Falls Stampede. In one game with Omaha, he was pointless and a plus-one. With the Sioux Falls Stampede in 29 games, he recorded 12 points on three goals and nine assists. The next season with the Stampede Dineen played in 51 games recording 25 points on 13 goals and 12 assists. Dineen’s first season at Yale, he played in 22 games recording nine points on five goals, and four assists, and was a -15.

In Dineen’s second season, he played in 27 games, recording nine points on a goal, and eight assists, and was a minus-four. In year three in 20 games he recorded nine points on seven goals, and two assists, and was a minus-four. This season in 30 games Dineen recorded 18 points on six goals, 12 assists, and was a minus-one. In four seasons he played in 99 games recording 45 points on 19 goals, 26 assists, and was a -24.
