
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms confirmed four deals today. Three of these were mentioned last week. They signed goalie Yaniv Perets, forward Carson Golder, and defenseman Ben Meehan. Today, the final piece to their signings is that they have re-signed goalie Keith Petruzzelli. Petruzzelli, this season in six games with the Phantoms, went 3-3-0. He posted a 3.21 goals-against average and a .887 save percentage. He appeared in 34 games for the Reading Royals of the ECHL, going 14-16-4. Petruzzelli posted a 3.12 goals-against average, and a .901 save percentage. In three Kelly Cup Playoff games, he went 0-3-0 with a 3.43 goals-against average, and a .906 save percentage.

Petruzzelli spent four seasons at Quinnipiac University, where in 94 games he went 49-27-8. He posted a 2.17 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage, and ten shutouts. He then played for the Toronto Marlies, appearing in five games, going 3-1-0. Petruzzelli posted a 3.12 goals against average and a .902 save percentage. He also appeared in 23 games for the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL, going 16-6-1 with a 2.01 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage, and five shutouts.
In 2022-23, he played in 25 games for the Toronto Marlies, going 13-8-2 with a 2.90 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage. He also appeared in seven games for the Growlers, going 4-3-0 with a 3.70 goals-against average and a .881 save percentage. In 2023-24, he played in 17 games for the Marlies, going 6-8-2 with a 3.55 goals-against average, and a .867 save percentage. In 53 games in the AHL, he is 25-20-4 with a 3.17 goals-against average, a .893 save percentage.
