AHL: Lehigh Valley Phantoms Roster Will Look a Little Different in 2025-26
Brian Waksmunski - Inside The Rink

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms finished 2024-25 36-28-6-2 with 80 points. They were the five seed in the Atlantic Division playoffs and swept the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the first round. They would eventually lose in the Atlantic Division semifinals to the Hershey Bears, with the series going to a winner-take-all game five. The Bears won games four and five to advance.

This coming season, the Phantoms roster will look different with familiar names such as Olle Lycksell, Louie Belpedio, Elliot Desnoyers, Cal Petersen, Parker Gahagen, and more signing elsewhere. The reason for that is the coming pieces such as forwards Alex Bump, Denver Barkey, Karsen Dorwart, and Devin Kaplan, defenseman Oliver Bonk, Ty Murchison, and goalie Carson Bjarnason. Now, any of those guys could make the Flyers, but all signs indicate them starting with Lehigh Valley. There are a few free agents available with NHL experience that could round out the young roster. As for the goaltending situation, it’ll likely include Bjarnason, Ivan Fedotov, and Aleksei Kolosov unless Fedotov or Kolosov make the Flyers, and then Perets may be an option.
