AHL: Milwaukee Admirals Recall Goaltender Ethan Haider from Atlanta

The Milwaukee Admirals have recalled goaltender Ethan Haider from the Atlanta Gladiators. Milwaukee fans can look forward to seeing Haider in action soon, and his addition is expected to further enhance the Admirals’ goaltending depth.

At just 23 years old, Haider has been a standout player in the ECHL with the Atlanta Gladiators this season. He boasts a solid record, with a goals-against average (GAA) of 2.87 and a save percentage of .899 across 24 games.

Goaltender of the Week: Haider was named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for November 18-24, 2024. During this period, he posted a 2-0-0 record with one shutout, a 0.99 goals-against average, and a .968 save percentage. Haider is also tied for second place in the ECHL for shutouts with three. His third shutout of the season came on December 7th, when he led the Gladiators to a 1-0 victory over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 5th round (148th overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Haider has demonstrated remarkable growth and resilience throughout his career. His journey has included stints in the USHL and NAHL, where he played for the Minnesota Magicians and Sioux City Musketeers.

Collegiate Career: Before turning pro, Haider played 101 games at the University of Connecticut and Clarkson University, compiling an overall record of 43-42-14 with eight shutouts, a 2.47 goals-against average, and a .909 save percentage

Admirals Extend Point Streak

In their latest game, the Milwaukee Admirals secured a hard-fought victory against the Texas Stars. They capitalized on key opportunities and saw another strong performance from goaltender Matthew Murray, who stopped 36 shots to earn his 13th win of the season. This victory extended their point streak to five games (4-0-1) and brought them within a point of the Stars for second place in the Central Division.

The Admirals are looking to conclude their five-game homestand with another win tonight, as they host the Manitoba Moose at 7:00 PM.
