The Manitoba Moose announced today that they recalled forward Carson Golder from the organization’s ECHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

The 22-year-old Golder has posted 30 points (16G, 14A) in 37 games for the Admirals this season. In 15 career games with the Moose, Golder’s posted seven points (2G, 5A) which provides a good depth option should the Moose make changes to their current lineup.

The native of Smithers, BC has 58 points (31G, 27A) in 69 career ECHL games, all with the Admirals.

Before his professional hockey debut, Golder played 164 WHL games with the Victoria Royals, Edmonton Oil Kings, and Kelowna Rockets. In the WHL, Golder posted 69 (34G, 35A) throughout his time in junior.

Norfolk has a win-loss record of 28-16-3 across 47 games played. Golder played a strong middle-six role with the Admirals and will be an option for the Manitoba Moose who will look to add more scoring to their lineup.

The Manitoba Moose wrap up their homestand with the Monday holiday matinee game with the Super Hero Day theme against the Milwaukee Admirals for a 2:00 pm CST contest.

After the homestand wraps up, the Manitoba Moose will hit the road for a six-game Canadian road trip beginning with the Laval Rocket, one of the American Hockey League’s top teams. The second stop will be a one-game set against the Toronto Marlies followed by a two-game series against the Belleville Senators. Manitoba will wrap up the trip with a rematch against the Marlies.

The Manitoba Moose are back home on Tuesday, March 4th, for a school day game against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
