The Hartford Wolf Pack has been relatively quiet this offseasonas things start to ramp up for the 2025-26 season. Today, however, they lost a winger as Nate Sucese signed with the Kunlun Red Star of the KHL. Sucese this past season appeared in 56 games for the Wolf Pack. He had 28 points on eight goals and 20 assists. He was a plus-eight with a shorthanded goal, a game-winning goal, and 12 penalty minutes.

Sucese spent four seasons with Penn State University in the NCAA. He went on to play in 147 games, recording 140 points on 61 goals and 79 assists. Sucese was a +47 with nine power-play goals, five shorthanded goals, four game-winning goals, and 68 penalty minutes. He spent five seasons in the AHL playing with the Wolf Pack, Chicago Wolves, Iowa Wild, and Tucson Roadrunners. In 276 games, he had 109 points on 52 goals and 57 assists. He was a -20 with seven power-play goals, eight shorthanded goals, six game-winning goals, and 84 penalty minutes. Sucese appeared in just one Calder Cup Playoff game, that coming in 2021 with the Roadrunners. He had an assist in that game and finished as a plus-one.
