
The Ontario Reign today signed 20-year-old left winger Kenta Isogai to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Isogai spent last season in the Western Hockey League, spending time with the Wenatchee Wild and Victoria Royals. In 59 games, he had 78 points on 32 goals and 46 assists. He was a +29 with 11 power-play goals, three game-winning goals, and 12 penalty minutes. Isogai finished the season with Victoria, in which in 31 games he had 40 points on 17 goals and 23 assists. He was a +31 with four power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and eight penalty minutes. In 11 playoff games, he had 17 points on six goals and 11 assists. He was a plus-nine.

Kenta Isogai
Isogai started in the USHL, appearing in 43 games for the Youngstown Phantoms. He recorded 12 points on five goals and seven assists. He was a -19 with six penalty minutes. In his second season with the Phantoms, he played in 59 games, recording 22 points on ten goals and 12 assists. He was a minus-nine with ten penalty minutes. He also played in two playoff games, recording two assists. In his final season with the Phantoms, he played in 61 games. Isogai had 39 points on 14 goals and 25 assists. He was a +19 with 14 penalty minutes. He played in nine playoff games as well, recording five points on a goal and four assists. Isogai was a plus-seven with two penalty minutes.
He then joined the WHL in 2023-24, playing for the Wild. In 64 games, he had 88 points on 31 goals and 57 assists. He was a +20 with 28 penalty minutes. In five playoff games, he had eight points on four goals and four assists. He was a plus-four and had a shorthanded goal.
