AHL: Ontario Reign Sign 24-Year-Old Forward

The Ontario Reign today signed forward Keaton Mastrodonato to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Mastrodonato played in 13 goals for the Colorado Eagles last season and didn’t record a point. He was a minus-three with six penalty minutes. In 53 games for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL, he had 49 points on 19 goals and 30 assists. He was a -24 with five power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 24 penalty minutes.

Keaton Mastrodonato

Mastrodonato spent four seasons at Canisius College. In 123 games, he had 97 points on 46 goals and 51 assists. He was a plus-eight with seven power-play goals, seven shorthanded goals, nine game-winning goals, and 89 penalty minutes. Mastrodonato then joined the Texas Stars after his final season, appearing in two games but didn’t record a point. He was a minus-one. In 2023-24, he played in 19 games for the Texas Stars, scoring four goals. He was a minus-three with a game-winning goal and eight penalty minutes. Mastrodonato also played in 48 games for the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL, recording 42 points on 24 goals and 18 assists. He was a plus-three with five power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and 30 penalty minutes. Mastrodonato also played in ten Kelly Cup Playoff games, recording nine points on four goals and five assists. He was a plus-three with six penalty minutes.
