Hershey Bears News & Notes:

Hershey looks to get a win tonight to even the series before returning home. They are 3-3-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 2.7 goals per game. Hunter Shepard got the start in game one stopping 21 of the 24 shots he faced. He posts a 2.47 goals-against average, a .893 save percentage, and a shutout. Clay Stevenson stopped 28 of the 32 shots he faced in his lone game.

The Checkers look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead tonight after winning last night 3-2. They improved to 4-1-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.2 goals per game while allowing 1.8 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen is posting a 1.81 goals-against average, a .921 save percentage, and a shutout.
