The Rocket dropped games one and two at home to start the Eastern Conference Finals. They are 6-5-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 2.7 goals per game. Both goalies saw action in game two Cayden Primeau got the start stopping 14 of the 18 shots he faced. Jacob Fowler appeared in relief stopping 11 of the 12 shots he faced. Primeau is posting a 2.83 goals-against average a .891 save percentage, and a shutout. Fowler is posting a 2.45 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage, and a shutout.

Charlotte Checkers News & Notes:

The Checkers took a commanding 2-0 series lead as they took both games on the road to start the series. They improved to an impressive 8-1-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.7 goals per game while allowing 1.8 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen is posting a 1.78 goals-against average, a .925 save percentage, and a shutout. He stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced in game one.
