Laval Rocket News & Notes:

The Rocket are on the verge of seeing their season come to an end unless they can mount a comeback in this series. They are 6-6-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 2.8 goals per game while allowing three goals per game. Both goalies saw time in game three. Cayden Primeau got the start stopping 12 of the 16 shots he faced. Jacob Fowler appeared in relief stopping 12 of the 13 shots he faced. Primeau is posting a 3.27 goals-against average a .878 save percentage, and a shutout. Fowler is posting a 2.38 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage, and a shutout.

Charlotte Checkers News & Notes:

The Checkers can advance to the Calder Cup Finals tonight with a win. Charlotte has outscored Laval 15-4 thru the first three games of this series. They improved to an impressive 9-1-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.8 goals per game while allowing 1.7 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen is posting a 1.71 goals-against average, a .928 save percentage, and a shutout. He stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced in game three.
