Laval Rocket News & Notes:

The Rocket jumped out to an early 1-0 series lead, taking game one 5-4. They improved to 4-1-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.4 goals per game while allowing two goals per game. Cayden Primeau got the start in game one, stopping 23 of the 27 shots he faced. He is now posting a 3.62 goals-against average and an .865 save percentage. Jacob Fowler is posting a 1.00 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage.

Rochester Americans News & Notes:

The Americans look to even the series tonight before heading to Laval. They are 3-1-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.8 goals per game while allowing 1.8 goals per game.
