The Admirals went to five games against the Rockford IceHogs, but they won three straight to advance after going down 2-0. They are averaging 3.2 goals per game while also allowing 3.2 goals per game. Matthew Murray is posting a 2.99 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage. The Admiral went 4-3-0-1 against the Stars in the regular season averaging, 2.4 goals per game.

The Stars swept the Griffins to advance to this series. They averaged 4.3 goals per game while allowing two goals per game. Remi Poirier is posting a 2.25 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage, and a shutout. They went 4-4-0-0 against the Admirals in the regular season, averaging 2.5 goals per game.

Cameron Hughes and Justin Hryckowian lead the team in points with six. Hughes, Kole Lind, and Curtis McKenzie lead in goals with two apiece. Hryckowian leads in assists with five. Hughes, Arttu Hyry, and Kyle Capobianco lead in plus/minus as they are all plus-four.
