Milwaukee Admirals News & Notes:

The Admirals lost game one 4-2 on Thursday. They are 3-2-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 3.3 goals per game. Matthew Murray is posting a 3.17 goals-against average and a .879 save percentage. He stopped 24 of the 28 shots he faced in Thursday’s loss.

Texas Stars News & Notes:

The Stars started the series off with a win and look to go up 2-0 before hitting the road. They are 4-0-0 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 4.3 goals per game while allowing two goals per game. Magnus Hellberg got the start on Thursday, stopping 23 of the 25 shots he faced in the win. He is posting a 1.08 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage. Remi Poirier is posting a 2.25 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage, and a shutout.
