Springfield Thunderbirds News & Notes:

Springfield has hung tough this series with Providence. Colten Ellis has been locked in posting a 0.99 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage. Tonight expect the same from Ellis with Springfield’s season on the line. If Springfield win’s today they will face the Hershey Bears next.

Providence Bruins News & Notes:

The Bruins got an overtime goal from Vinni Lettieri to keep their season alive and force this winner-take-all game three. Michael DiPietro has started both games, posting a 1.00 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage. If Providence advances they will meet against the Charlotte Checkers in the next round.
