
The Providence Bruins signed defenseman Colin Felix to a one-year deal. Felix spent last season with the Rockford IceHogs, playing in 36 games. He recorded five points on a goal and four assists. That goal was his first career in the AHL. He finished with a minus-ten with 54 penalty minutes.

Felix played his college hockey at UMass, playing in 140 games, recording 42 points on four goals and 38 assists. He was a +27 with 135 penalty minutes. He won the National Championship with the Minutemen in 2020-21. Following his time at UMass in 2021-22, he played in one game with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, recording seven penalty minutes and was a minus-one.
In 2022-23, he played in the ECHL, playing with the Reading Royals. He played in 72 games, recording 27 points on eight goals and 19 assists. He was a +29 with 139 penalty minutes. In 2023-24, he played in 23 games with the Utica Comets in the AHL and 41 games with the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL. Felix, in those 23 games with Utica, he had two assists with 47 penalty minutes. In 41 games with Adirondack, he had 18 points on five goals and 13 assists. He was a +22 with 64 penalty minutes.
