
The Providence Bruins this morning announced the signing of Jacob Perreault to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Perreault last season played in 44 AHL games between the Laval Rocket and Bakersfield Condors. He had 14 points on three goals and 11 assists. He was a -20 with 41 penalty minutes. Perreault also played in five games for Trois-Rivières Lions, recording five points on a goal and four assists. He was a plus-one with a power-play goal and four penalty minutes.

Perreault played in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting. In two seasons, he played in 120 games, recording 125 points on 69 goals and 56 assists. He was a -33 with 22 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, seven game-winning goals, and 94 penalty minutes. In four playoff games, he scored a goal and added an assist. He was a minus-three with two penalty minutes. He then joined the San Diego Gulls, where he spent four seasons playing in 161 games, recording 91 points on 32 goals and 59 assists. Perreault was a -36 with seven power-play goals, five game-winning goals, and 179 penalty minutes.
He did play in one NHL game with the Anaheim Ducks, but didn’t register a point and was a minus-one.In 2023-24, he joined the Rocket, where in 13 games he scored a goal and added an assist. He was even in plus/minus with 19 penalty minutes. Overall, he’s played in 218 career AHL games with 107 points on 36 goals and 71 assists. He was a -56 with seven power-play goals, five game-winning goals, and 239 penalty minutes. In two Calder Cup Playoff games, he’s recorded an assist. He was a minus-two.
