
The Hershey Bears see another player head overseas this offseason. Today, it was announced that Riley Sutter is signing with the Kunlun Red Star in the KHL. This past season, Sutter appeared in 55 games for Hershey, recording nine points on four goals and five assists. He was a minus-seven with 30 penalty minutes. In eight Calder Cup Playoff games, he recorded three points on two goals and an assist. He was even in plus/minus with a game-winning goal and eight penalty minutes.

Riley Sutter
The Washington Capitals drafted Sutter 93rd overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the Capitals he played in the Western Hockey League with the Everett Silvertips. In 204 games he had 137 points on 60 goals and 77 assists. He was a +38 with 157 penalty minutes. He’s spent the last six seasons with the Bears playing in 279 games. He recorded 65 points on 21 goals and 44 assists. Sutter was a plus-two with a shorthanded goal, a game-winning goal, and 171 penalty minutes. In 41 Calder Cup Playoff games he recorded ten points on four goals and six assists. He was a plus-two with two game-winning goals and 34 penalty minutes.
