AHL: Rochester Americans Sign Aidan Fulp

The Rochester Americans today 25-year-old defenseman to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Fulp spent this past season with the Bridgeport Islanders, where in 31 games he recorded six assists. He was a minus-nine with 14 penalty minutes. Last season, he had an AHL career high of six assists and six points.

Fulp started in the USHL playing with the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He spent four seasons in the USHL playing in 134 games, recording 33 points on four goals and 29 assists. Fulp was a +16 with 52 penalty minutes. He then went on to the NCAA, where he spent three seasons with Western Michigan. Fulp would appear in 94 games for the Broncos, recording 38 points on four goals and 34 assists. He was a +11 with a power-play goal and 72 penalty minutes.

In 2022-23, he joined Bridgeport, where in three games he had two assists. He was a plus-two with two penalty minutes. Then in 2023-24, he appeared in 50 games for Bridgeport, recording five points on a goal and four assists. He was a -22 with a game-winning goal and 14 penalty minutes. Combined over his three seasons in the AHL, he’s appeared in 84 games with 13 points, on a goal and 12 assists. He’s a -29 with a game-winning goal and 30 penalty minutes.
