
The Rockford IceHogs continued their roster construction for the 2025-26 season this morning. They announced the signings of defenseman Jeremie Bucheler and forward Joe Carroll. Each signed a one-year AHL contract.
Bucheler played in eight games for the San Jose Barracuda last season. He was held pointless and was a minus-four. In 52 games for the Wichita Thunder, he recorded 32 points on six goals and 26 assists. He was a plus-seven with two power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 30 penalty minutes. Carroll in 34 games for the Wichita Thunder last season, played in 34 games recording 37 points on 20 goals and 17 assists. He was a plus-ten with four power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, a game-winning goal, and 16 penalty minutes. In three Kelly Cup Playoff games, he had four points on three goals and an assist. He was a plus-two with a power-play goal and four penalty minutes.

Jeremie Bucheler
Bucheler spent four seasons at Northeastern University, appearing in 110 games. He had 28 points on four goals and 24 assists. Bucheler was a +32 with 27 penalty minutes. He then transferred to the University of Vermont, where in 33 games he had 18 points on six goals and 12 assists. He was a minus-three with a power-play goal.
Joe Carroll
Carroll has played in 69 career AHL recording 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists. He was even in plus/minus with four power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, five game-winning goals, and 58 penalty minutes. In 2022-23, he played for the Orlando Solar Bears, appearing in 23 games, recording 22 points on 13 goals and nine assists. He was a plus-three with four power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, three game-winning goals, and 37 penalty minutes.
