AHL: Ryder Korczak Signs Overseas

The Syracuse Crunch today saw forward Ryder Korczak sign with Vlci Zilina in Slovakia. The 22-year-old forward played in 35 games for the Hartford Wolf Pack, recording 11 points on three goals and eight assists. He was a plus-four with a game-winning goal and 14 penalty minutes. He also played in ten games with the Crunch to end the season. Korczak had two goals and two assists, finishing with a minus-three. He concluded the regular season playing in 65 games combined. Korczak finished with 15 points on five goals and ten assists. He was a plus-one with a game-winning goal and 16 penalty minutes. He played in one Calder Cup Playoff game, failing to record a point, and finished with a minus-one rating.

Korczak played six seasons in the WHL before playing in the AHL. He went on to play for the Calgary Hitmen and the Moose Jaw Warriors. In 248 games, he had 246 points on 82 goals and 164 assists. He was a -34 with 102 penalty minutes. The New York Rangers drafted him 75th overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He went on to play three seasons with the Wolf Pack, playing in 107 games. He had 31 points on 12 goals and 19 assists. Korczak was a minus-four with three power-play goals, a game-winning goal, and 42 penalty minutes. In ten Calder Cup Playoff games with Hartford, he scored a goal and added an assist. He finished as a minus-three.
